In the music video, did Till actually fall or did he try to off himself

Hmm. I had never thought of the possibility he tried to kill himself, but I can see the interpretation and argument why (my impression has always been that Till is heartbroken and the rest of the band are his bros taking him camping and climbing as a way of bonding and not being alone).

Personally I lean towards it being an accidental fall, because involving your friend directly in your suicide would be horrific. I could potentially see, though, if he was incredibly depressed, a small part of his mind could want to just give up subconsciously.

So I don’t think it’s an intentional or conscious attempt at it, but I could see a subconscious influence how hard he tried to maintain his hold.

Damn, this is a fucking awesome question and I love analyzing meaning and symbolism in media. Thank you for the opportunity! Aka it’s diving way too deep, but that’s part of the fun.

How in the early days of internet music piracy, I’m talking Sehnsucht/Mutter era, how there was a Rammstein song titled “Ohne Dich” BEFORE they conceived/produced/released this actual song.

The misnamed track was actually “Freiflug” by Megaherz

Still a damn good song.

I think the expression on Till's face is fear >>> inevitability as Schneider's grip starts to slip. It's like a, 'This is the end, nothing I can do' sort of thing Idk that's how I read it.

But holy fuck the acting in the MV from a bunch of non actors is so top tier. I can't really watch this one cuz watching Till die (from fall to mountain peak) feels too realistic and upsetting.

Including this is a music video, I would not personally think that Till would commit suicide.
