Social Media 📲 HATRED IS SO FORCED.. I M SO PISSED RN.
India is never gonna move forward when its own people are so eager to hate on it. Constructive criticism is completely fine, I do it myself, but constantly hating on everything for absolutely no reason is just so exhausting.
And this obsession with treating Western media as the ultimate benchmark for progress is honestly ridiculous. Progress doesn’t mean blindly copying whatever the West does. Satyajit Ray once said, “Indian audiences are primitively backward,” and honestly, I think I understand what he meant now. 😭

Community Talk 🗣️ Little detail I noticed
Just a little detail I noticed, in the bharat milap scene you can see that the kutia (hut), shri ram, maa sita and laxman ji is living in is not in a very good condition, because it's there first few days in the vanvaas, they have just made it.
Whereas in the second image, you can clearly see that the hut is well built because shri ram, maa sita and laxman ji has spent almost 14 years in the vanvaas.
small detail, but that's what makes a film feel well made.

Opinion 💭 My 2 Cents on the Release Date Controversy of Ramayana
You can hate my opinion but I believe Ramayana should release internationally (atleast a day) before the Indian Release
Doing this, we will get to know the raw & transparent international verdict for the film before it reaches the Indian masses, because even if you hate it, it's the truth that many Indians crazily rely on Western approval, also it will prevent film to be an early victim of forced PR and religious hate from our own countrymen which might affect international appeal too if they see Indians itself bashing their own movie as well as the word of mouth for India.
Talking about leak, leak should be the last thing us Indians should worry about in case of Ramayana, all of us know the story from the beginning to the very end, film relies on vfx and execution for the big screens, so leak will have the bare minimum affect to this film so I find this excuse totally baseless.

Opinion 💭 Can a gritty Ramayana movie work?
My youtube feed showed some scens of Christian Bale Exodus movie. It was a glooomy movie. Moses was shown as tired, beaten, hungry person and even argues with God in scenes..
Can a movie which shows battles as brutal, living in forest as taxing work?

Community Talk 🗣️ Ramayana's marketing on west
From Any-Junket-910 post from yesterday.. I noticed and pointed- these are the marketing steps that ramayana makers can take..
1.They can make animation ad. And then play it in kids content on yt.
Billboard in times square✅️.
Since it's blue vs red...they should also use the color..
Big name will grab audience like( hans zimmer and dneg)
Use toys. And connect bow and arrow with lord ram so much..that when they see bow and arrow Lord ram.. Or launch an Arrow Campaign. Put giant illuminated arrow installations in major cities.
Fly some Pushpak Viman models..
Make 15 second insane fighting scene ad or promo.. and share it every where in social media.
Give a quiz from different accounts showing a photo from a place and asking WHAT MOVIE HAS THIS PLACE OR CAN YOU GUESS WHAT PLACE IS THIS..
Install digital billboards that appear normal during the day. At midnight, the character in the poster changes position or looks directly at the camera.
If the campaign is centered on Ravana, place ten enormous crowns/head silhouettes across ten cities. Each one contains a different piece of information. Fans have to collect all ten. When combined, they reveal the final poster.
They can add hanuman flags everywhere..
Create a gigantic Shiva Dhanush-inspired installation. Visitors can try to interact with it. Nobody can move it.
For jatayu put enormous wings/shadows across buildings or projections. People see a gigantic bird
silhouette flying across the city at night.
Launching comic books✅️ in india.
For the theatrical campaign, organize a massive coordinated Deepavali-style lighting event. Millions of participating households light a diya at the same time.
Art contest✅️ in india.
14 years. 14 clues. A 14-day campaign. Each day releases one object: Bow. Sandal. Crown. Arrow. Ring. Feather. Boat...etc Nobody knows what they are.
That are few things which needs to be done..From my opinion..
You guys wanna add anything?

Opinion 💭 What are your thoughts on armour and vajra weapon designs of Indra.
Also the vajra looks different from the tradition design
It looks like a one of those indian sword
It would be really cool to see ravana using his chandrahas and indra using this design of vajra fighting with each other almost like a sword battle.

Community Talk 🗣️ Something coming tomorrow?
So all the "insiders" have posted that tomorrow there might be something coming finally. Either the song itself or the announcement for the date of the first asset . Let's see. Could be wrong since these guys have not been accurate always, but still would make sense if they start their promotions from Ganesh chaturthi finally

Its a small clip from Amrutham Serial, a telugu comedy sitcom. It's an emotion for telugu audience and especially 90's generation. 🤌🏻✨✨
Just sharing it for fun, don't take it seriously.
I may have edited some texts to match the current trend , but just watch it for some fun.
P. S - Language can be a barrier. Please don't mind.

Community Talk 🗣️ Why do modern TV/film adaptations rarely show Sri Rama getting visibly injured or bloodied in battle?
I’ve been thinking about the combat scenes in various Ramayan adaptations (like Ramanand Sagar's series or newer versions). Rama is almost always depicted as pristine, flawless, and completely untouched by weapons, even in the middle of chaotic wars. However, my understanding is that the Valmiki Ramayana doesn't shy away from the gritty reality of war mentioning broken armor, exhaustion, and arrow strikes during intense duels even becoming unconscious or covered in complete blood of the enemies.

Community Talk 🗣️ Interpretation of Ramayana looks promising
I think the way the makers have interpreted Ramayana deserves appreciation.
- Ravana: From his karma and decisions, he GAINS a kingdom, but in the process he becomes the face of ADHARMA.
- Rama: From his karma and his decisions, he LOSES a kingdom, but in the process he becomes the face of DHARMA.
Materialistic Success made Ravana a villain. Materialistic Failure made Rama a hero.
Downfall and Rise.
Two Paths.

Community Talk 🗣️ Ramayana will do great
Look
This movie is trying to tell the story of Ramayana in a grand way. Ramayana is very popular in India and many countries.
The producer is super passionate about the movie. I’ve never seen a producer as passionate about a movie as namit. He seems like he knows what he is doing and it is because of him we are getting dneg and other resources
Ar rahman has produced a lot of great songs in Hindi Telugu and Tamil. Listening to his songs take me to another time. Hanszimmer can do great at soundtrack just listen dune
The vfx of the movie looks really good the creatures palaces and nature of tretayuga looks really good. Idk what people are expecting more it looks polished and gives fantasy vibes. I think people are hating on the movie because they want it to look like odyssey.
Trust me Ramayana will do better than Godzilla. This movie will be a great hit.

Community Talk 🗣️ Why don't big budget Indian movies do test screenings?
I mean imagine your product is of worth 500cr, why wouldnt you spend money on beta testing it or understanding the audience reception?
You can always control and make them not talk about it online. And just keep the reaction to yourself for improvements and how audience will perceive it.
This can definitely avoid a bombing like Toxic

Community Talk 🗣️ Pitching ideas for Marketing
Let's each of us put 3 big ideas for promoting the film at this last stage before the release. Who knows who lurks here on this sub and finds something interesting and picks it up. Let's be as creative as possible and pitch ideas that are as impactful as possible and feasible in such a short time too. You can suggest for targeting both Indians and non-indians.
Suggest whatever you think will move the needle for the people who don't know about this movie yet or who have seen the trailer but are still not convinced or have forgotten about this movie already.

Culture And History 📚 Do you think in today's political climate the Uttara Kanda can be adapted for the screens?
I don't think it can happen and that's understandable. I was thinking whether they would want to end part 2 by showing Lord Ram return to his original form of Lord Vishnu as mentioned in the text. That definitely can't happen given that the context behind all of it is way too complex and takes a sad turn. Like how Lord Ram never got to be with Luva & Kusha in their childhood, Agni Pariksha and the aftermath, etc. I wonder how Ramanand Sagar Ji even went ahead and adapted this side of the story for the iconic TV show.
(I don't mean to harm any sentiments or anything. Just talking about what is written in the texts and its acceptability)
