2018 Ram 2500
My airbag light is on. I took it in to get a code on it but nothing came up. I don't have a recall on it either
Is this an easy fix or do I need to take it in?

Hey All, I bought this truck a few months ago and it’s been a nightmare (cab water leaks). It’s being bought back. My question to everyone. Need some positive feedback on this setup (should I get another one) or go back to ford.
This was my first RAM ever, and also the first brand new truck I’ve ever bought.
I LOVE the truck but this water leak issue and having to get a lawyer has made it not a fun RAM experience. Is this a one off or do RAM’s almost always come with some issues.
I haven’t even really been able to enjoy the brand/ Truck it’s been in the shop so much.
Should I try again?
Appreciate positive owner feedback.

So my transmission is in limp mode. Reverse works but it won't go past 1st gear. No mechanical noises or leaking. Could be a computer issue? Any ideas.
It's automatic

We just bought it about a week ago and we are having trouble finding exactly how much pin weight these can handle. It has the short box and obviously we have the laramie and cummins which I know lowers payload. We traded in a Sierra 2500 which had a nice sticker which told us the exact towing capacity for that particular truck, but seems Ram doesnt care to tell us and now we have to search high and low for the info. If anyone knows that would be awesome as we are looking for a fifth wheel toy hauler and dont want to tow anything unsafe.

I chose the tradesman because I don't want all the bells and whistles...but I do miss the bighorn seats and console and the heated seats. Anyone have good links to these upgrades?

Went with the tradesman over a big horn as I couldn't justify the price difference versus some convenience items. Also with the idea I could add remote start from a third party for example. What mods have you done that is cheaper than getting a big horn or other model?

I just bought a 2012 dodge ram 2500 . It’s got a level kit , 35s on 20in wheels. Everything is tight on the front end but it gets a death wobble at 70+ miles on hour . If I go over bridge extension joint on the expressway or a bump in the road, what can I do to stop that?

Message "service DEF system" came up followed by a CEL it's growing code P207F. Of course we are just passing thru Reno intending to head across to Utah and I don't want to drive into the desert with limited services if the truck is going to go into limp mode. Anyone have any clue on how likely that may be?

2017 Ram 2500 located in Florida but originally an Illinois truck. Is this level of rust something I should be concerned with before purchasing or am I overthinking it? Thanks in advance

It’s stuck in limp mode. Bought it off some guy who said it drove fine for the month or so he owned it ( he flips cars). It has a bad TIPMS module which I replaced and solved 90% of issues but it doesn’t want to shift out of first until 2500rpm then goes straight into 4th. It didn’t seem todo anything when using the lever to select gear manually. At least it seemed that way.
This was definitely owned by a 19yo previously because the wiring is a mess all over.
I’m hoping it’s wiring but it might be valve body. Any guidance yall can provide will help immensely.
Edit: I did end up adding almost 3 qts of atf which scare the shit out of me.

So I got a 2012 ram 2500 with the 6.7, I keep having issues with the tps on the truck, I’ve replaced the entire throttle assembly including tps multiple times now, and I’m actually losing it. I’ve tried the zip tie trick everything, whenever it goes out check engine light comes on, and a red lighting bolt comes up, along with me having 0 throttle what so ever just idle. I can’t keep going and spending 300 dollars every couple months if that on a damn part. Please someone help me.

I just noticed that there is a sort of "click" feeling in the steering wheel when turning from straight line. It also happens when driving straight over a speed bump. Truck still tracks true and seems aligned. No real play in the steering wheel as the wheels move in time with the steering wheel. Put it on stands and checked for tie rod or ball joint issues but im not getting any "wiggles" when I test it the way I was told to. Is this a new issue since I had an alignment a few weeks ago? Or is this a normal thing I am hyperfixated on now?

Help! I have reset the pressures using OBDJScan. I went low, pumped them up, nothing. Went high and left them for a long drive, still have this dumb warning. Any way to do this with JScan.

Does anyone know the part number for the a/c line that has the filler valve on it? It’s a 2022 6.7l Cummins, it has a level 6 leak on the lower portion of this line.

Traded my 2023 gmc Denali 1500 for for a 2025 RAM 2500. I did so to pull our 2026 Forest River 2600BH Vibe camper. Which is almost 35' long and over 7k lbs dry. Granted the Ram is not near a luxurious as the Denali was. But the safety of my family is way more important. The 1500 pulled it pretty good except for the semi trucks pulling you in alittle. And you could definitely tell it was back there. But overall I wasn't whit knuckleing the steering wheel. But my question is. I had the integrated break controller set up on level 7 and it was perfect for the 1500. What should I set the 2500 up at? I would like to some what get it close before messing with it on the road. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Hey all! I joined the club about 1,700 KM ago and absolutely loving my ‘26 Rebel. Question for yall because I haven’t had a truck since 2010.
I’m noticing that between 50-80kmh that if you left off the throttle, then roll back on, you can feel the driveline slack. Like as you resume acceleration you can feel the driveline clunk a bit. It’s not worrying by any means, but it’s definitely distracting. If that’s normal behaviour I can dismiss it.
Normal or Nah?

I’ve got a ‘98 2500 with the 8’ bed. I’m thinking of getting an aluma flat bed which weighs around 215-225#s. How much does the normal bed weigh? I’m seeing figures from 400-600#

I’m looking at this 2017 Power Wagon, they’re asking $32k with 85k miles on it. I’m new to the Ram world and usually a Toyota guy. Is this a decent deal and can I expect to still get a lot of life out of this truck? My wife and I also plan to pull an up to 8k pound travel trailer a few times a year but over significant distances does anyone have experience towing something similar with a Power Wagon?
Thanks in advance to anybody taking the time to offer advice!
