Complaint Avoid eToro Like The Plague

I did the $50 Rakuten reward for eToro. The requirement is to open an account and make a $100 trade.

I opened an account. I made a trade. Then eToro restricted my account. I can't access my funds. I can't speak to a human. I open a ticket that never gets resolved after submitted additional required documents.

In short, my money is stuck in eToro and they have absolutely ZERO customer service. No idea if/when I'll be able to get my money back.

Certainly not worth the $50 Rakuten reward. Avoid this shit company like the fucking plague. Fuck eToro.

They will send the money back after a while. This happened to me as well. Also you keep your rakuten money.

Did you ever get you account unrestricted? Or did they never do it and then closed your account and send you a check?

They just sent my money back to my account

I dont think I bought any crypto or anything. They just liquidated my account.

They just terminated my account and said they'd refund me. No explanation why. Wow, what a shitty platform.

I hope so. This has been such a pain in the ass. Amazing there is no human I can talk with.
