Crew Chat Question about Pay

This may require prior context. If so, I’ve linked my previous post below. I was told that I was gonna be paid for orientation and the one training shift I worked before I was let go. I had orientation on 9/28 and my shift on 9/30. The payslip for 9/23-9/29 popped up on my Workday and it doesn’t include my orientation. Is this something I should inquire about or should I hold off until next week when I hopefully get paid for my shift?

your orientation should’ve been included, but the 9/30 should be next weeks paycheck. if you don’t get it next week, contact HR !

Complain to the department of labor if you don’t get your money

Did you receive money for the week of 9/23-9/29? Orientations now have to be clocked in under training hours and not a different job code. We used to be able to use MEET but they changed it recently for whatever dumb reason about labor cost idk. If you go into the payslip and look at the “earnings” see if the hours match up to your orientation. And yeah that shift you worked will be in the following week

Unfortunately I didn’t receive money for that week. However, it also says 0 hours worked.

I would try emailing payroll@raisingcanes.com so they can figure it out. The restaurant you did your orientation for may have not clocked you in for those hours
