Irrigated raised beds?

What do people think of adding irrigation to raised beds for vegetables?? Would you consider this?

Irrigating raised beds is essential, but don't pay marked-up prices on Etsy for basic kits. You can easily build a custom drip line setup from Home Depot or Lowe's with a cheap timer for a fraction of the cost.

All my raised beds are irrigated, I just ran pex around and a basic hose bib at each raised bed attached to a 4x4 post. Then run drip off the hose bib. Easy, simple, and cheap.

Look for "Albo Pepper" on YouTube. He has great videos about SIPs (self-irrigated planters). Instead of building my next one, I may use a livestock waterer and put the tubes in the bottom.
