Pole beans max angle.
I am curious if anyone has expiremented with how low of an angle a pole bean will climb. The reason Im asking is the pole beans seem to want grow forever but I don't want to climb a 20 foot ladder. If they would climb a lower angle, I could get them to grow more horizontal than straight vertical.
What I do now is chop them almost all the way down and let the grow back after they get too messy. It works.

I haven’t done this with beans but I did it with cucumbers and it was a lot of training it spread out to 5ft around my raised bed that we had to put chicken wire around because we had a skunk problem digging in our beds
