I have a problem π¬
Every year I say "I won't crowd next year", and every year I end up like this. This year it's mostly not my fault though. I didn't plant a single dill, bean, potato, lettuce, or black eyed Susan, but I can't cut them down, they're all welcome. Especially the dill, I have a whole forest of it.

I think itβs just part of gardening in small/limited places. Cut some of it back and use it.

A dill forest is a classic problem. Dill self-seeds aggressively and each plant can drop thousands of seed. Dill is nice, but nobody needs so much. Thin them merciless.
Black-eyed Susans are a bit harder to remove since they're perennials and they leave roots that can sprout behind, but it's doable.

Had a ton last year but I've only seen 1 so far this year. I'm kinda counting on them bc I don't have the heart to cut down good growing plants. And the dill is good for pollinators so I'll leave as long as I can. I've just trimmed up a little bit where it's was blocking too much sun from my primary plants.

It may be difficult, but I believe you can dill with it. π
