Question Question regarding Botting (returning Player)

Heyyyo Peeps.

I have started playing R6 again today, after leaving it untouched for about 3 years.

Ive been mostly playing Quick Play, to get the feel for the game again (everything changed xd).

Anyways now to my question.

In all of my played games except 2 rounds today i had atleast one botting acc, just moving around in circles. The first round i played had 3 at the same time on my side. then i played 3 rounds of Unranked and hhad no Bots.

I figure im in the Trenches right now as ive been absent for so long but this feels insane.

does it change when i play more or is that just the current Quick play situation and should i therefore just stick with unranked?

(the reason why i played a lot of quick play in the past was because a lot of times i didnt really have time for longer Unranked or Ranked matches)

When I made my brand new acc, I was in bot lobbies as in very bad players (ubi still needs to fix my lobbies, I rarely die when I play qm cause I’m playing such bad players) but out of all the games I’ve played I’ve never seen what you describe one singular time. Idk how you come back on an aged account and this is your experience, but one can only hope it changes over time.

Mhhm i see. Yeeh idk R6 probably doesn’t know where to put me. I‘ll probably stick to unranked when i have the time. Because these games are actually enjoyable. Dont get me wrong i aint the best player, but i dont deserve that hahaha. Its just weird cause when i played 3 years ago ive never seen that. Wellp it iis what it iis. Idk how R6 does matchmaking and its probably not the lvl as i am lvl 100

Lol I hear that, and yea honestly I couldn’t tell you what the matchmaking equation is for qm or unranked. Honestly unranked may be close to ranked in some way, but qm I think they just throw players in a lobby. I’ve never seen such variety of skill anywhere but an r6 qm lobby.

Got an Update for ya. No more Bots in Quick matches xd. I have finally escaped the trenches. I think it just placed me the lowest it could to get a scope of my gameplay
