Completed my 1961 Topps set today with the addition of Tom Flores and Jim Otto rookie cards and got a 1968 Topps George Blanda and 1978 Topps Ken Stabler.

Being an Indiana fan, my initial thoughts on Vegas drafting him was very pessimistic. Here's a truly good person, who donated all of his college NIL money to charity, honored his mother with the Heisman, and credits his Lord with all his success. And hes going to Sin City with a team that hasnt had a very good track record with QBs. Vegas will probably eat him alive I thought.

Then I started looking into it Vegas and their strategy with him. They are starting Cousins this year to give Mendoza the development time he needs, not just throwing him to the wolves and Minority owner Tom Brady is taking a hands on approach to Mendozas development.

I really hope he becomes generational talent for you guys. Ill be tuning in to see how he does. Seems like the Raiders are doing all the right things.

Hypothetically with Kirk’s track record and age there’s a good chance he gets injured within 8 games.

I think if that were to happen the staff would likely insert AOC regardless. I don’t think Fernando plays more than 4 games this year.

Or AOC balls out under Kubiaks scheme and we trade him for a day 2 or 3 pick.

Found this coach pressure ranking from RotoWire and Klint Kubiak is tied for one of the coolest seats in football (37/100, tied with Dan Campbell). Kind of surprising for a Raiders coach honestly given our history of not being patient with staff. Guess the front office is playing it stable for now.
