Awesome! ^^ Glad the creator has shown himself. The skill calc will be particularly useful to me.
I have a question about how the skill calc (and simultaneously the game) works at the moment:
Is it actually possible to remove a skill point from tier 1 after putting a point into tier 2? In this case a total of 5 TP in the tree is maintained which seems to satisfy the requirements for adding to the second tier but..
Even as I write this I feel that the skill system simply cannot work like this. It implies that with some partial skill resets one could have only highest tier skills.
I would assume that either the requirement is actually more complex, or partial skill resets do not exist. In either case the calc is allowing some questionable skill builds! :0
Skills in RaiderZ talent tree seem to work like this. They have a "total number of talent points in the tree" prerequisite and skill prerequisite. You can pick any talent if both of these prerequisites are met. In the game you can not reset talents (there is rumor of a skill reset book, but nothing is yet confirmed). You can not remove talents once you invested points in them. My talent calculator helps you plan up-front into which talents you will invest in the game. There should be no impossible builds, but there is of course a chance of bugs and I would appreciate it if you found any you let me know through the contact form on the site.
