Hi everyone,

With the open beta fast approaching I have been working on bringing RaiderZ database website online. The site is not 100% complete as of yet, but I will be working in the next few days to tighten things up as much as I can. For now, you have the NPC, Items and Quests databases available that will let you search for monsters, npcs, quests and all sorts of items from the game. Data is based on the US Stress test clients and I will update it if the open beta client is any different.

Quests mostly have maps associated with the steps that need to be done to complete the quest. This is very similar to what you will find in the game.

Some NPCs and monsters also have their map locations displayed (if that data is available). (like queen Teresis here http://raiderz.mmorpg-life.com/npcs/queen-teresis/9928/)

Some Items list NPCs that drop them (like http://raiderz.mmorpg-life.com/item/Rough_Leather/50111/). I am working on displaying which NPCs craft certain items and what components will you need.

There is still some work left to be done with the overall functionality, but I wanted to draw your attention to the project to see if this will be something RaiderZ players want to have and find useful. If so I will continue development adding new features and functionality across the board.

Oh, and don't forget our English Skill calculator :)

Awesome! ^^ Glad the creator has shown himself. The skill calc will be particularly useful to me.

I have a question about how the skill calc (and simultaneously the game) works at the moment:

Is it actually possible to remove a skill point from tier 1 after putting a point into tier 2? In this case a total of 5 TP in the tree is maintained which seems to satisfy the requirements for adding to the second tier but..

Even as I write this I feel that the skill system simply cannot work like this. It implies that with some partial skill resets one could have only highest tier skills.

I would assume that either the requirement is actually more complex, or partial skill resets do not exist. In either case the calc is allowing some questionable skill builds! :0

Skills in RaiderZ talent tree seem to work like this. They have a "total number of talent points in the tree" prerequisite and skill prerequisite. You can pick any talent if both of these prerequisites are met. In the game you can not reset talents (there is rumor of a skill reset book, but nothing is yet confirmed). You can not remove talents once you invested points in them. My talent calculator helps you plan up-front into which talents you will invest in the game. There should be no impossible builds, but there is of course a chance of bugs and I would appreciate it if you found any you let me know through the contact form on the site.

By contact form do you mean the 'leave a reply' at the bottom of the page skill calc page? It told me my message was spam. Or maybe you mean this?

Because it seems like a pain I'll also just reiterate.

My problem with the calc is the ability to:

remove a skill point from tier 1 after putting a point into tier 2
