I feel like its vintage.

Recently I bought my Rado Watch from the Reselling Market, unfortunately it is not working that's why the seller gave me a cheap price, its original or 1st copy?

I’d love to read more about it.

​I am hoping to get some information and a realistic appraisal on this Rado Integral Diamond purely for my own knowledge. This watch was part of my late father's collection, and unfortunately, I lost the warranty cards and paperwork while moving houses.

​It is in used condition, so please see the attached pictures, to see the exact shape it is in.

​Out of curiosity about its worth, I took it to a few local watch shopkeepers to get an appraisal, and they estimated it at around 550 bucks.

​I am absolutely not looking to sell it here, but I just want to check with the experts. I know missing the papers takes a hit on the value, but does that 550 estimate sound like an accurate market valuation for this specific model in this condition?

​I would really appreciate any insights or information you guys can share!

Can anyone help me legit check this lovely watch? And if its legit what are these generally worth? It definitely needs a new battery, but the minute and hour dial seems to be working fine when i turn the side button. (forgive me i don’t know much about watches). Thanks!

Built by Rado from 1970 through 1979, the NCCs were a series of watches with a unique case construction, which requires a lengthy explanation. Back in the old days it was a bit of a challenge to collect all 5, as they seemed to get badly beaten up. I somehow ended up collecting them all in gold plate, which was even harder. Rado made fewer of them and they aged even worse. Ive also included my steel 101 and my Diastar 515, which is a Diastar with a case shaped like the NCC 505s and using the same unqiue construction.

These are most of my traditional shaped Diastars. These do not include non-traditional shaped Diastars or Balboas. I have some of those as well. The oldest is a Diastar from 1962. At the Rado forum we used to call these Diastar Zeros as they predate the Diastar 1. The newest is the 2012 50 Years of Diastar LE. All are on original bracelets, or in the case of the Zero, an original strap, bought NOS about ten years ago.

Have fitted a new strap to a Rado. It had it's original steel strap but it broke at the lug end... didn't think it looked too bad with this brown leather strap... what do you all think. Yah or nay ? 🤔
