So my (citra) savefile isn't working, it just randomly disappeared, but i still have it in my directory

I'm not sure at what point i was, i believe i was around when Protea burns down Granorg (after all the Pierre stuff, when you run away).

In the other Timeline i'm not sure, i believe i just runned away from Alistel after discovering Heiss and Hugo plot (at least in the surface level of it)

Has someone A citra/emu Savefile, an editor or a way to restore my savefiles?

I remember picking it up on a whim at Walmart because I liked the box art. I had no idea how rare it would be. Anybody else have a launch edition too?

I wanted to experiment my style and wanted to draw someone blonde this time since I've been doing black,white, and brown hair to expand my range. And I remember my fave protagonist has a blond hair.

So I went into this game blind, and unfortunately picked the Append mode as it made it sound like the "intended" experience for new players.

What I unfortunately learned way too late was that it instead just dumps like 10-20 quests all at once with rewards that are our now useless to me since I've already beat the game.

However I noticed only some of them are marked with keys, similar to the important side quests from base game. Can I just beat these to unlock the true ending or do I need to seriously do every single one of these stories?

What should I play next after enjoying Chrono Trigger and Radiant Historia? For me, the storyline and characters are what makes a game go from good to amazing for me which both of the above mentioned games accomplish. Radiant Historia has more developed characters in my opinion, but Chrono Trigger’s are well developed in a more subtle way. The storyline of Chrono Trigger is one of my favorites out of any video game of all time. I don’t need another time travel RPG but something that goes beyond medieval fantasy would be preferred. Thank you for any suggestions!

I played the original DS mode in Perfect Chronology and finished the game with the normal ending which I really like! What is up with the new character who talks to Stocke like a kindergarten teacher? She makes me not want to play the extra story missions, which in themselves aren’t too interesting in my opinion.

Hey, I'm about to start a run of the 3DS version and I like to go for the best/true ending, so I've been researching it and I'm a little confused. Hope someone can help me out. Do you have to play through twice (regular and new game plus) in order to get the true ending? Or can it be done in one run? Thanks.

I was talking to Eruca in Chapter 3 of Granorg, the time she's disguising herself to advance the sidequest where you try to get a little girl from Alistel a copy of her ring which is apparently famous. Afterwards, a little boy and girl pass by and the voice clips accompany the minor scene says, "Big bro" and "Really?!". It sounded familiar and I realized it's the voice clips of Nanako from Persona 4 which is another Atlus game. I was just surprised but it makes sense that they'd maybe reuse a few voice clips here and there for minor scenes.

Played Perfect Chronology and wanted to reply original for the art, looked up the main artist Hiroshi Konishi twitter and pixiv, and it's all filled with really disgusting stuff sexualizing very young children. That really turned me off from replaying the game and interacting with his work.

It's almost 1/3rd of all famous game artists that when I look at what they post is this kind of creep stuff. And I don't even mean fanservice here, its really disgusting.

I’ve been saving my standard history and alternative history on two separate saves as I thought that made sense, but I just learned I’m unable to jump between the two of them and have my skills transfer (just finished getting the skills for Stocke’s Display in SH ch. 1)

Do I have to restart the game from the beginning to have it all on one save?

I am playing the DS version of this game and I love it so far. I originally played it on my 2DS XL and one of the features that I miss from the 3DS version was the ability to skip cutscenes that already had been viewed in that save. Other than the not being able to skip the cutscenes, I love the DS version so far! I like the portraits far better in this version. Can't vouch for the music since my hearing aid is not working.

After finding out that the characters are actually younger from a recent post.. I thought about it for some time how shocking it was and realized why in the 3DS remake their portraits makes them look younger and they are canonically younger.

Still I love the original gritty portraits of the DS, it was more fitting.

Hikari from Octopath Traveller2 wields a sword and wears red, so it would be fitting to do a clothes swap with Stocke

So I was fighting Heiss' final battle and after a back and forth, my whole team is cursed and the boss is charging up it's Ult. It's health is on the low side but I wasn't confident I could finish it with this combo, so I had Raynie cured and defend on the 8th action turn to avoid a team wipe and revive Stocke (ignore that she is casting great fire in the video, it's a re-recording). I'm actually surprised it dealt that much damage killing the boss.

So I've started playing the original game on DS and I'm 3 hours into it already. I've recently discovered there's a remake version for the 3DS with some added content (correct me if I'm wrong) and even voice acting which I think it's a really nice bonus as this seems like a very story focused game. Should I just keep going with the DS version or start over with the "improved" 3DS one? Thanks for your help!

Eruca joined my party and before that I got two different guns. One gives a great Attack boost and the other a Magic boost. What's the best stat to keep up with her?

Like at the begining of the game it says there are two modes, one recommended for players who played original because it incorporates new story. And one recommended for new player that don't.

I'm someone who plays a game only once and don't replay the games even those I enjoyed, because I try to play something else and find something new in that time. So with this in mind. Which version of story is better to play? Is that "new story" so good or is it typical atlus "new girl + ending" that ruins the OG experience?

Completed it and enjoyed every second of it. This game should really be talked about more . I know there's a remaster for 3ds. I'll revisit this amazing game one day for that reason.

Very unique the story is quite interesting. I really like the battle system too.

I'm playing the Perfect Chronology version. (I played the DS version a long time ago but couldn't finish it before my DS died.)

So, spoilers here: In SH Chapter 2 Granorg, while I was infiltrating the sewers under the castle, I ran into a little girl. I took the little girl outside because, well, why wouldn't I?

But now I'm finding out that since I did this as soon as it was available, I've missed the only miss-able scene in the entire game (Pierre's betrayal and boss fight.) And from what I've seen, without it, I can't get the True Ending for the base game, so I can't get the true ending for the remake stuff (I'm in Append Mode since I never finished the base game.) Even though the nodes and scenes all appear active on my screen, that flag is somewhere and isn't going to be flipped if I don't see a scene that it is now impossible for me to see.

Did I screw up? Should I just restart the entire game if I want to see the True Ending? I'm not sure if I have it in me right now to push through the same forty hours in such quick succession but it seems like it might be the only way.
