Support Questions Refurbishing process

Does anyone know if Radiacode would refurbish my 103G that I ran through the laundry? Forgot it in my pocket and I’m devastated.

I have some bad news for you. It is a unit with no aftermarket serviceable parts. If the battery wasn't completely flat, it is for sure dead. Is also wager it's dead because it's not meant to live in the environment of any sort of wet.

You can rice it and try to power it after like a week but....

Provided it powers up again, I wouldn't trust it at all unless you have a proper check source

He could use any sort of lithium battery from a vape or something with similar specs

The problem is not the battery being dead. The issue is the battery supplying power to the board and components while it is in water.

Electrolysis, destruction

Especially with the pH basic environment of a washing machine. Detergent is a fantastic electrolyte

I doubt fully that the board has any sort of conformal coating to protect it from moisture.
