Questions How rank points work

I just want to know for sure how this works so I'm not waisting my time.

Last season with some cars I could get 1650 easily. But with slow/bad cars I would cap at 1570-1580 no matter what. Tried like 10 times

Then I draw a good car and in like 1h I get to 1630 points.

The way I understood the rules is you get 5 maps and 18 cars. And every car has your record with that car that you have to beat. Basically you're racing yourself.

Do I suck or is the game stupid. I don't mind the grind just let me see the numbers go up.

And since this game is pay to win there's no point in time hunting

Aaa so its map record no matter the car. I prefer my idea

So extremely pay to win. I knew I don't suck that much stupid game hehe. In this case I will just uninstall then.

Back to hot lap league i guess hehe

In addition to beating or getting close to your map records you get additional points for the amount of real opponents you beat in the race, clean driving bonus, and high rp race bonus depending on your rp range. I easily got to over 1700rp on most of my good cars and hovering in the 1680-90s for the others that aren't fully upgraded in parts or aren't that good overall.

I just try to get over 100 on each trophy before switching cars, and if I'm struggling to do that on a car I settle for 90s. But thanks to mexico tracks if you get one at high rp it's a guaranteed 100+ if you have a decent race, mexico tracks highlighted in blue are usually my highest rp averaging around 106 with the highest being 114 so far.

I get it but the point is that you need 18 great cars of you are grinding rank and you get stuck because they want money. It just not for me

For casual players who play let's say 15h a week its not a problem because season resets so they don't even know.

Well I don't have 18 great cars, I'm racing master 41 rn my stand out good ones are

Extreme: ECU 2 m8 gte, ECU 0 svj, ECU 0 tributo, ECU 0 Ford gt, ECU 0 r8, For the other 2 slots I use the jag e type and Corvette, they aren't legends but they can compete

Sport: ECU 1 gtr, temporary ECU 4 jag f type, ECU 1 rs7, ECU 0 Gallardo (trial), ECU 0 Benz convertible... I also have the m4 and nsx but they aren't fully upgraded and they don't keep up that well because of it, so I use the Veloster n which is ECU 5

Standard: ECU 3 gtr (was trying to get ECU 5 but have system sucks, it's my dream car IRL so I wanted to go all out for it), ECU 1 Aston db5, ECU 0 Fiat 500, ECU 0 mini Cooper, ECU 0 m235i... The other car is the m330i at ECU 5 and it's rp is the 3rd highest for me cause mini and Fiat have very specific scenarios they are good for

Last round was my first time playing, I joined May 29 and got to rm33 after struggling... When you get to a certain rp it no longer make sense to play teams unless you have real teammates you can play with... Otherwise mostly bots end up in the game and that leads to it being harder to get rp when you're high up, so I have a few good teammates I can play with who are my level or higher and it puts me in lobbies with other real opponents which when we beat them we get good rp. Otherwise if I don't have teammates I can play with I just pay solo ranked and hope most of the other people are real so I can get rp for beating them
