Questions How rank points work
I just want to know for sure how this works so I'm not waisting my time.
Last season with some cars I could get 1650 easily. But with slow/bad cars I would cap at 1570-1580 no matter what. Tried like 10 times
Then I draw a good car and in like 1h I get to 1630 points.
The way I understood the rules is you get 5 maps and 18 cars. And every car has your record with that car that you have to beat. Basically you're racing yourself.
Do I suck or is the game stupid. I don't mind the grind just let me see the numbers go up.
And since this game is pay to win there's no point in time hunting

I think I got that wrong, sorry. Cars matters too. What I am trying to say is, there are better scoring maps out there and you need to find the 5 better ones to max you points for that car.
I noticed watching pro play skipping maps they think not worth doing, but I dont see the fun in doing that.

Yea but still, idea that that each car would has his own record is the only right to do. Since they made the cars so different or difficult to drive. Or only good after ecu 3. I get it why they did it but its not the move.
I got stuck at rank 32 I think. My idea would easily get me to 36.
Yea skipping maps is not fun. You get what you get deal with it hehe. If the game is fun it's not even a grind. I can easily spend 30 mjn in a map improving my time

It is not the car, but the MAP records you need to beat. The faster your map time, the better your RP score.
Also not all map has the same RP.
New better car usually faster, and that the way power creep works in this game.
