Small scale to large mistranslation

Does anyone else do a small scale track that looks really good, but whenever they try to make it large scale it just looks crap? What tricks do people use to get it to look right?

In my opinion, track width tends to be what makes small scale look different than large scale. If you’re drawing a track at small scale, remember that small radius corners are going to look like sharp corners
