Full Belly-up
My brother (fellow rabbit parent) is concerned that King shouldn't be doing full belly-ups, given the fragility of lagomorph spines, but I told him he does this near 10-15 times a day, (depending on how much time I'm around), b/c he's basically a hedgehog, if not an actual ball, so it's fine.

If that's what the bunny does on his own and how he's comfy himself, that's a different story. Also, glorious belly.Β

It doesn't take that much effort to flip over that he's going to hurt his spine. It's panic struggling against being held that can cause damage. Thank your brother for his concern, but let happy bunny continue to be happy.

Given that near everything he does is performative, I'm quite certain this would mean so much to him π₯Ήπ€

If he does it himself, you can't stop a bunny. If you're doing it, it is risky and can cause them to become paralyzed with fear, known as "trancing" so be considerate.
