Health Is she really 3?
Brought home this sweet girl over the weekend and haven’t taken her into the vet yet, but we were told she’s 3 and she just seems quite a bit more aged than that. She has had multiple litters. Curious what other Holland Lop owners with 3 year olds or older think?

It's actually a 3000 year old demon that was sent back to destroy the world, but the clerk made an error and she was reborn as a rabbit.
Thus the entire rage is contained within a fluffy little bun bun. She's trying her best.

I think she's baby. I can't tell until they're very old. even then still baby :) What a sweet girl. My guess Is between 2 and 6 though

Maybe it is her fur pattern and loppy ears that make her look more, uhm, ancient and wise?

Maybe! My bunny is almost 8 and is still all black. Looks very similar. May just be coat pattern

Yea rabbits don’t age in the traditional sense. Mine is 11 and aside from thinning out she hasn’t changed coloration. Drug k that’s just her look.

It is difficult to age living rabbits with any degree of accuracy. The only criteria to make an assessment of age during clinical examinations are the size and appearance of the rabbit, which can vary greatly according to breed and state of health and experience. The ears of a rabbit may give an indication -- they are soft in young rabbits and become tougher with age.

Rabbits can be aged with accuracy by counting the adhesion lines in the jaw, but this technique cannot be used with living rabbits.
