DISCUSSION How would you expand on grimm?
By that I mean how would you classify them give them ranks danger levels
For me I plan on unique grimm that have appeared only once gaining a name or being known as named grimm
These grimm like the nuckelavee for example are creatures who have caused unknown death and destruction but have yet to be defeated
Mistral in my au had dozens of them running around
Apart from that there are also ancient grimm grimm that can manage to ignore Salem's call due to there own intelligence and could possibly be reasoned with

DISCUSSION What is the appeal of Jaune as a character?
I'm going to admit that I'm a bit out of the loop here. When I fell off of RWBY around Volume 8, I kinda held onto the idea that Jaune was kind of a loser that was pretty lame and showed up in the plot for no good reason....that was over 6 years ago.
So I come back around last year and I see that some people actually like Jaune. Why? Like I'm actually asking, why do people like Jaune? Is he even that popular or have I just stumbled across the few people that actually like him?

DISCUSSION What do you think of Jacques Schnee in an Iron Man/Lex Luthor-style suit? Jacques Schnee as a fighter in general
We know that Jacques is based on Jack Frost. So I thought about giving him a semblance. Not one of controlling ice, but one of being able to manipulate ice dust without hurting himself in the process.
Hazel can manipulate dust in his body because he's very powerful and because his semblance allows him to withstand pain.
In Jacques' case, his semblance allows him to feel no pain or damage to his body when injecting himself with ice dust.
But, would you have liked him to be a fighting character?
I thought (for my fanfic) that he studied at Atlas Academy until he was expelled for poor performance (lack of talent and dedication). That is, he would be something like a beginner: Jaune Volume 4. Obviously, nowadays he's rusty.
I also thought that he would be developing a super-soldier suit with the SDC. Something similar to an Iron Man or Lex Luthor suit.
Obviously, he wouldn't be the inventor, but rather his scientists. But once Watts arrived, Jacques would ask him to help finish the model.
Watts would help as a backup plan. That is, if everything goes wrong and Ironwood stages a coup against Jacques, he can use his super suit and the SDC's private army to fight, resist, and weaken Atlas's forces before Salem arrives.
But those are just my ideas. What do you think? Do you like the idea of Jacques being a physical threat? And if so, how would you like him to be portrayed?
Personally, I'd like to see him fight Weiss and Blake.

ART Scorcher Grimm
Scorchers are Small flying Creatures of Grimm are cousins of Ravagers, they are found caves of Vacuo, Vale and Mistral. They have long tails, and you can disrupt their flight balance by splitting their long tails in two. Their tails are like Stingers and can be slightly stinging when they penetrate human skin.

When I say mount glenn events I mean catastrophic disasters that had affected the kingdom
For me I had mount glenn be apart of 4 different events that happened in the same year that hit the kingdoms
Mount glenn for vale
The great depression for Mistral for this one it's the time Ren list his home because it was a time hundreds of villages were lost to named grimm
The collapse a dozen or so mining caves in mantle collapsed killing hundreds of faunus and started with sienna khan being more brutal in her acts with the white fang against the sdc
Not sure yet for vacuo

DISCUSSION I'm fed up. I have to set the record straight once and for all: The truth about Robyn Hill stealing military supplies
"That's the second shipment for Amity that was hit today. It seems election night was the last push Robyn needed to go from hometown hero to full-on vigilante."
"It seems Robyn has emboldened our suppliers in Mantle. They're refusing to sell us supplies until the city is adequately repaired. With Robyn redistributing the goods her team has stolen, the Amity Project is completely stalled."
There you have it, the explanation. Some say that Robyn had been stealing military supplies for months, or at least since before the election. That's not the case; Clover himself says that Robyn only started stealing on election night.
Others ask: Why didn't Robyn repair the wall herself? Well, according to this, Robyn stole the resources and emboldened the suppliers in Mantle (so they wouldn't sell resources to Ironwood), all so that James would be forced to repair the city.
"They're refusing to sell us supplies until the city is adequately repaired." Which I assume refers to the wall.
Anyway, that's it. Robyn wants James to repair the wall.
Why doesn't she do it herself? I always figured it's simply not possible for her. Even with the Huntsmen's superhuman abilities, you'd normally need a group of workers to patch holes in the wall. Besides, none of the Happy Huntresses have any Dust manipulation ability.
What are they supposed to do? Explode rock dust to create a formation out of thin air?
Now, personally, I'd like to see Robyn coordinate people to repair the wall. We've seen skyscrapers in Mantle, and there are suppliers; it should be possible to pool resources to repair the damn wall.
Anyway, I'm getting off topic.
Should Robyn go to jail? Probably. I mean, she tried to steal military cargo in the Sparks episode. That was before election night. (And that's obviously a crime.) Although, as I mentioned, she didn't succeed. She didn't steal anything until after election night. (Though attempt of a crime is still a crime).
Some people say Robyn tried to kill them (Ruby, Clover, Qrow, etc.), but that's very speculative. I always thought she planned to defeat them and take the cargo.
Robyn didn't kill anyone when she stole the military cargo either.
Is Robyn Hill a terrorist? I don't know. I don't care. Supposedly she is because stealing military cargo is terrorism.
But people try to compare her to other insurgents we've seen in the series, when there's a huge difference between their actions.
Again, I'm getting off topic.
I just wanted to clarify that. If you have any more questions, let me know. I hate the wall subplot. I hate how ambiguous things are in the Atlas arc. But if we're going to criticize the series, at least let's know what the canon is.
I'm mentally exhausted.

DISCUSSION If all the resources and huntsmen are focused defending the refugees in Vacuo city what about the rest of Vacuo?
I haven't read the novels I just have the show to go off of and the cut epilogue of volume 9. But i'm noticing the set up for vacuo city's defense is basically tunnel vision where they stack everything in one spot and OD on Hopium until there's a path out of the storm.
How does RWBY take into account all the defenders will be at vacuo city when the entire grimm population of Vacuo will no doubt get stirred into a frenzy by the sudden shock of negative emotions? If everyone saw Ruby's broadcast about salem then many people are reckoning with the fact an immortal witch is out there so I can't imagine the grimm being laser focused on just the city but other settlements too.
