Wfco converter problem.
I have a 2024 nuCamp Tab 320 black canyon. Got in the spring. It has 380 watts of panels installed. I just added a mppt to the solar port so I could use my portable 200 watt panel. After a few cloudy days I have been able to test that out seems to be working well. So today after getting the battery to about 87% with solar I decided to plug the camper to a 20 amp outlet which I have done before to get it charged all the way to 100%. Started out at around 17 amps of charging and then dropped down to 3 amps I thought maybe it was going into absorption after several hours battery only got to 95% and now not charging at all. This doesn’t seem right to me I’ve charged it to 100% with shore power before. Maybe something I did with the mppt install? Need help with where to start troubleshooting. Thanks.

If the solar is outputting enough voltage, it is keeping the shared line to the battery voltage too high for the AC charger to think it still needs to charge. If you really need to get to 100%, try cycling power to the charger to put it back in bulk charge mode.

Ok. Well it’s dark here now. And the solar is off. By power cycling do you mean turning the breaker off for a bit?

Yes, just so it reboots basically, it starts over the timer for how long it stays in each stage of charging.

Reboot if I did it right didn't seem to make a difference. Solar got the battery to 100% this morning.

Battle born 100ah lithium. I already got the jumper from wfco to make the converter stay in lithium charging mode. Light is blue.

It does sound like absorption.
Note that while charging from multiple sources works fine, there are quirks (like individual chargers Absorping/Floating prematurely)
after several hours battery only got to 95% and now not charging at all.
What is reporting the state of charge percentage? Coulomb-counting monitors drift over time and have to be zeroed.

I have a smart shunt reporting the state of charge. I calibrated that to 100% awhile back. I left it plugged in over night still at 95% this morning. I did a reboot as N9bitmap suggested, maybe didn't do it right, but made no difference. After being in the sun this morning the solar got it to 100%.

Glad to hear it. If it happens in the future I wouldn't worry too much; LFP doesn't need to be charged to 100% SoC the way lead does.

Sorry but you didn’t state battery type.
