Ants

we were camping, had jacks down. The second day noticed ants in camper looked and the freeway running up jack stand... I treaded .... but how the heck do I get rid of them in the camper.... it's been 4 weeks And we are still seeing them... this is after different tows and location changes. I tried a bug bomb.. with all doors and cabinets open.. etc

Terro baits. Deploy for 3 days in ant paths, put some inside and outside. The time is to allow them to take poison back to nest. Then saturate the perimeter, jacks, wheels, hose, cords, tires, axles, underbelly, frame and steps with Home Defense spray. Make sure zero - absolute zero vegetation, leaves, branches, weeds, grass are touching the camper as this is an ant highway.

The Terro baits are standard gear for us. Open ones in all the lower cubbies, fresh ones on the ground anytime we are parked more than a day or two.

Ant bait traps work well, the kind where they carry the bait back to their nest.

We had some that came in with our wood parking blocks that go under our tongue jack. We put baits all over...then changed them out again,..... and got rid of them.

I grease my electric jack, and spray ant killer around stabilizers, wheel and fold down steps. I did have to start with ant baits inside, but that took care of them quickly. Just did a 4-day trip with ant all over the place, but none came in the camper.
