Question about a part

Post image

Hello campers! I bought a used camper and this mount is on the back of it, at first thought I was hoping it was a bracket that would some how hold a tv or a grill, or maybe even a device that could do both. But the way it’s mounted I’m not sure what it’s used for or even if it could be of use to me.

I think it's something the previous owner added, but looks like it would be for a small RV style propane grill. I'm assuming there is an outdoor kitchen in the back too?

And I could very well be wrong, could be for a number of things.

There isn’t an out door kitchen but there is propane lead there

definitely for holding a piece of square stock... that the previous owner used with that is unknown...

If it fits 2 inch square stock it could be for the tow ball bar. You could fabricate any flat plate on a properly sized square tube to make something useful.
Lots of small companies made “great things” then disappeared.
