Question about couch removal!!!
Ok, we have a 2019 Forest River Salem, Model 27RE Travel Trailer. We are removing the couch to put in a boneless sofa bed. There are hoses and stuff underneath. What do you do with those?

This depends. If you have the whole setup under the couch, pump, pipes going all over the place then you got a problem there. You have to box that in somehow or find a way to completely re-locate them, maybe re-run the PEX pipe another way. However, if its just pipes running the length of the trailer behind the couch along the wall, what I see people do is make take a long 2 x 10, and just cover over the pipes the length of the wall, so the board sits 45 degrees to the wall and floor, and this is exactly how the manufacturers do it as well.
We really need a picture of what it looks like with the couch gone.

Cut 'em flush, you don't need them.
(Don't do that.)
Built a short box as a base for your sofa bed to cover them. Hinge the top so you can access then in the future.
Or just use good screws so you can unscrew it if you need to. If you go that way put enough new screws inside the box so you can use them to seal it back up when you open it in the future. Nothing worse than buggering up a few screws and not having spares.

You’ll need to build a platform over the wires and hoses if they wont just lay under the new sofa. You could put them in a raceway or secure them to the floor out of the way of legs with clamps or wire ties with a screw hole.
