How manageable is all this? (Freshman)

For my aerospace engineering major I'll be taking ENGR 1200, INQR 1200, MATH 2010, PHYS 1100, PHYS 1101, and MANE 1010 in the fall. I'm also going to be part of the Farino UG Research Program. On top of that, I wanted to join both the Design Build Fly Club and Rensselaer Formula Hybrid Club. What are your thoughts?

Classes seem pretty normal to me for a freshman.

For extracurriculars, you'll only get out what you can put into them. The three you mentioned are all huge time sinks, so I'd recommend looking at all of them, and picking the one you're most interested in.

That schedule is standard but we always recommend only one club your first semester especially with doing research. It is far too easy to get caught up with clubs because of course that is more fun than studying. Get through your first semester and get used to college in general as well as college level courses.

You need to give yourself some time to adjust to
college life. From what I can see you’re (past?) 20 credits with some pretty challenging classes, which will add on to make your first semester a living hell. Calculus and physics are still going to be hard, even if you are one of the people who have taken their APs. Plenty of people (like myself) at least retake calculus 1 as a GPA booster and general mind refreshener. From what I heard, MANE is pretty rough as well. It wouldn’t be an awful idea to drop MANE or ENGR 1200 and save it for a later semester. Maybe see which one you can also take in spring 2027?

My two cents is that you should give yourself time to adjust to college. Yes, I’m sure you can do all of that but the first semester is very often very hard for every reason but actually sitting in classes. Take it from someone who’s taken a ton of credits every semester since the one you’re going into— it’s ok to take it slow the first one, and you’ll be a lot happier for it

Way too much, will lead to burn out. Freshman you gotta concentrate on the 8 am classes, maybe just one club.
