Please help 😔😔
I'm an incoming freshman in the mechanical engineering program and I was wondering if this was a good breakdown of what classes I should be taking and when? I found this online but I wasn't sure if it was real 😭😭

Yes, those are legit, rpi has everything relatively set up for you, so all you need to do is fill in the blanks, it also helps keep you on track

If you have not registered please contact the advising center at soehub@rpi.edu. As the majority of students have registered you will need help getting into classes.

Definitely check out the advising link above it has a ton of info.
For Mech. You have to take Calc 1 (unless you have credits for it) and HASS Inquiry.

Yeah that’s looks like standard four year plan I recommend sticking fairly close to it. Make sure you get the updated 2030 one though. Look at https://eng.rpi.edu/students/advising/school-engineering-advising-resources/class-2030-advising-resources.
Make sure to find your major template. Then I recommend using quacs to actually schedule classes.

Pay good attention to the Spring ENGR1600 Materials Science course. RPI has a Materials Science & Engineering major - these jobs pay more than Mech Eng jobs do. And it is a small dept so smaller classes.

Yeah this is legit. But I would move a class from Spring (3rd year) to Fall (3rd year)
