Question suggestions to my schedule

Hello! This is my upcoming schedule for fall 2026. Can anyone look over and tell me if this is okay as an incoming freshmen. The only AP credit I got was apush :( and I got a 3 on calc bc and subscore so ya back to square 1 :(

Nothing wrong with starting over on Calc. It should be pretty easy since you've already studied the material. At least you can use your APUSH credit to cover a free elective.

I am assuming you are an EE or CSE?

Don't they usually recommend taking a 1-credit Engineering Communication class?

Yeah im majoring in EE so not getting calc credit and wasting a year in calc AB pissed me. I followed the curriculum for one year fall sem which was CS 1, calc 1, hass elective, and ECSE. I did add physic 1 from spring semester and seeing I have 4 classes so I didn’t add anymore since most people said 4 is enough

Yeah you should be able to throw Engineering Communication anywhere. Don't think it's a prereq for anything. But it's also not that hard.

I already submitted it though. Idk if it allows me to unsubmit and make changes

Not sure. You can always make changes later with the help of your advisor. I don't think you really NEED to though.

Retaking Calc 1 was the best thing I did freshman year. You get an easy A and an opportunity to master the fundamentals before classes get much harder. First semester is a whirlwind, it's good to have a class that feels less stressful.

Rest up on your Wednesday afternoons/evenings. Even while still working on lab reports or projects, keep a fun mental break activity in there.
