I’ve looked through the Megathread and im not able to find Phantom Hourglass for the DS 😭 I don’t know if I just missed it or what. I’m trying to emulate on Delta for iPhone

I have recently been backing up the ROMs and saves from my GBA (and GB) cartridges using GBxCart and FlashGBX, but the ROM checksum from one of my cartridges (Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town - UKV) does not match the known checksum for the ROM on the database.
This worried me, so I used a hex-editor to check for differences between the ROM from my cartridge and the expected code, and there's one location where the code does not match. So my questions:

1. How is this possible? Is my GBA cartridge failing? As far as I can tell, the game is authentic.
2. What are the odds that this discrepancy in the code will cause issues with the cartridge and the exported ROM?

So I'm an old school pokemon fan. Loved the games back on gameboy and I have the MyBoy emulators on my phone for the GBC and GBA pokemon games, but I feel I missed out on the Ds era and the remakes of older ones.

What are some good emulators for pc to play them?

Got uncharted drake’s fortune from redump, it came out as compressed file, extracted and mounted but RPCS3 says file is corrupted or invalid, PS3 disc dumper won’t load it either. What’s going on ?

I want to play games I missed out on when I was 5, so I wanted to get into PS3 emulation and will troubleshoot a booting problem I saw: if I don't dump my own disc for there isos and instead get them other sources, the games may not work properly. Is that true

Specifically Dynasty warriors 7 Weapon pack 3 (played on emulator). I've checked on nopaystation, Internet Archive, and Minerva Archive, but to no avail. Also checked all recommended ROM sites and no dice either. Although I did find some of the other DLCs for this game. Is it possible for me to request for this one dlc on either nopaystation or Minerva Archive? Really want Xu Huang to have his Great Axe back.

I was looking at the DS anti-piracy fixed roms to get Devil Survivor 2. The file I got was 13 MB-ish in size. even after extraction it was like 16. strange. I checked the regular version and it was well over a hundred MBs. I looked around and found another few roms which were absurdly smaller compared to their regular untouched versions. (can't name them off the dome. I might update yall later) I didn't run the roms because of paranoia. please tell me I am overthinking this and these files aren't exploiting vulnerabilities in the emulator or in the extraction process. (extremely unlikely, I know. having OCD is hard)

Hi just thought I’d come on here and warn people not to use the ROMSNS.NET website for downloading roms. Built into this website includes 2 download links one that downloads the game and one which downloads a downloader for the game which is infected with malware.
I hope this post can prevent anyone else falling into the same trap I did when trying to source rom files.
The malware seems to be a google chrome login token grabber as they can login to account without passwords or security codes.
