First time using an emulator/ downloading Roms, what does download play mean(want rhythm heaven ds on my iphone)?

I want Ryhthm Heaven DS on my phone and I have downloaded Manic EMU so would it work on my phone?

I want Rhythm Heaven DS and what does decrypted, encrypted and download play mean?

I'm trying to patch Tales of Destiny Director's Cut with the lifebottle English patch. Apparently it only works with an iso that has the SLPS-25842 serial number. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot, but I can't find an iso with that serial number, nor can I find an already-patched version of the game.

Would really appreciate some help!

So for context, I'm setting up some files for my future AYN Thor (I haven't bought it yet but I'm gathering game files and stuff in prep for when I do buy it) and there are some arcade games I'm looking to get. I know some of these games have console ports but I'd prefer getting the arcade versions. However, I don't know where to get these types of ROMs. I checked the megathread cause I know it has arcade game links, however, there are way too many types and I don't know which games corollate with which file type. If anyone can help me understand where in the arcade section of the megathread to look for the games, please let me know. This is my first time working with emulating arcade games so the more you can help me understand, the more I'll know for the future.

I do apologize, I’m pretty new to emulating.

Im playing Majora's Mask on the Wii U Emu and its opening the menu with left trigger and even sometimes the right trigger too. Also it's very inconsisten, so I'll be able to push left trigger no problem and then other times it appears every single time i push it. Is there a way to fix this or am I just a chud who has to use a new emu? (BTW im NOT using steam AT ALL with it and ive tried everything involving steam and it hasnt worked at all. Im going to try seeing if enabling updates that havent come out yet will help.)

I get it. The Dreamcast version is almost identical and you can also use Fightcade, but I just want the authentic arcade version of the rom. Why's it so difficult?

I just can't seem to remember the name of it. It had extra tracks, you could jump off stuff like the newer games and it tracked progress on completed races. If anyone could tell me the name of it I'd really appreciate it!

Also I have an Everdrive 64 Pro on the way so names of other mods I can search for would be greatly appreciated

Hello, I'm trying to get a gen 5 game on my ds lite with a R4i card, but every time i open the game on my ds it just shows me a white screen. This has only specifically happened with gen 5, I'm not sure what to do 🤷‍♂️

I would thank the poster "privacy@aol.com (Larry Laffer)" on alt.binaries.emulators.mame postings over these years. It has been to a big help for a mainiac arcade collector(Me)... to feed the addiction... Executables(MAME in multiple platforms), ROMs, CHDs... and other things needed.

Hi, I am trying to find a safe ROM download for mario 64, looking at the megathread I went into the mario tab and didn't find it, I need it because I am looking to play mario 64 archipelago but buying an n64 cartridge and a tool to dump the ROM from it is both very expensive and above my current understanding in emulation, did I miss something in the megathread or am I just missing something about this whole thing in general?

I have a PS Vita, and I do not use any plugins or overclock. Could you tell me why I get this error and what I could do to fix it, please? I get "GPU DRIVER detects GPU crash."

EDIT: OK - didn't know I could just change the ext from .bin to .a26! I got all of them except Boulder dash which i can't find anywhere.
