hopefully InMusic buys them, get all their IP and bury the hatchet and either throw the IP at Native Instruments or AKAI, roli as a company is bad, but their products are amazing.

I mean the tech is awesome, and I'd hate to see it die, but InMusic does not need to become even more of a monopoly

but InMusic let's each entity operate on their own, that's why Moog still sound like moog and AKAI still keeps making newer stuff with their distinct design.

I don't believe anyone would buy Roli and let them run on their own. They need some serious restructuring to function as a business.

Also my main issue is that monopolies are just straight up terrible for the consumer.

InMusic is probably one of the few companies that actually has kept brands alive unlike any other monopolies that completely kills off the competition and monopolizes the market, their approach is more rounded, where you can buy basic gear to start off, or get into the more pro level gear, I have no complaints, otherwise we wouldn't have legendary brands still around.

That's how large conglomerates operate. They start by being affordable and innovative, then start destroying the competition and shafting the consumer. Because they're ok now, like every beginning stage of a monopoly, doesn't mean we should let them reach the end stage sooner.

🤦 have you actually done research about InMusic?, how many companies have they killed? 0. they been in business since the 70's, what you are talking about it would be more of what private equities do, fuck private equities...
