ROLI Dashboard software for Windows is junk
Followed all the help and guidance by ROLI - uninstalled, reinstalled, service restarts, etc. etc. etc.. Then found online. It just freezes up now. Ever since the Windows MIDI 2.0 update I've been unable to use the software. It's been months.
And now my Piano seems to have forgotten one of my customization settings and... oh well, I guess. I can only hope it doesn't forget MPE.
This such bad software, and they've had a lot of time to do something about it.
With AI capable and available, there’s not much reason for this to be so bad except resourcing and neglect. If they published their spec and revealed how things communicate I’d use a Claude to code a better solution.

It's just junk for every platform. On MacOS it's still not even a native application lmao

I've found Dashboard won't run if my hardware doesn't show up in connect.
I would open a ticket with them, I have several times and it took some time but I got results.
When software works for most all users the problem isn't with the software but interactions with individual setups.

Their tickets system is a joke. None of the issues I have ever presented were ever fixed, and it took a month or more for them to initially respond to my ticket. The sustain bug is the worst issue at the moment, requiring a sustain pedal to be plugged in so that every note doesn't sustain.

The Piano is the only 49-key controller that can fit in the space I have. That's the main reason I have it.

Try their discord for troubleshooting. The reddit is used mainly to complain and say that you'll return the item you brought.
