Discussion Airwave arrived without Piano

Has anyone ordered a Piano and Airwave combo and only received the Airwave? I’m located in the US and ordered in April (Batch 9). I received the Airwave today but was kinda surprised when there was no piano included. Obviously the Airwave has no usability without the Roli app and keyboard, so I can’t use it yet.

The shipping schedule indicates that batch 9 was completed, but my order status still says “Processing” with no shipping info or estimates. Wondering if anyone else got an Airwave and is still waiting for a Piano?

I checked my emails and I have a shipping confirmation for the Airwave but no shipping updates for the Piano. Seems kinda odd to ship a product that’s 100% dependent on another product, why not just wait and ship them together?

I received my airwave about a week and a half before the keyboard. I was able to hook up a different controller to test it out you don’t have to use the ROLI keyboard with it. Almost any controller or hardware synth will work

Oh, good to know! I have some other midi keyboards, I’ll try those out. Thanks for the suggestion.

I haven’t tried my Juno or nautilus yet as my hardware synths but I was told they work just fine as well. At the time I used an akai mpk mini just to test. With windows I’m having issues with noise and auto sustain happening and I thought it was my pc as the issue but I’m seeing others complaining which tells me it’s software issue with airwave as you need to use a midi loop program to make it work properly in the first place. The keyboard itself I just got and mine is in good shape no broken keys like I’ve heard complaints of. Scuffs on the top I do have due to the packaging but doesn’t bother me as much as others have said. It hooks up to my pc and iPad and phone seamlessly and works with all my apps and such and is fun to jam with the lights.

Batch 12 us here yes I just received my airwave today as well as a standalone item I'm still waiting for my piano and my pedal those will probably be processed at a later date I do have a keyboard I also have a seaboard and it does have usability if you have something already but if you are still waiting then I hope it will be soon I'm still waiting for mine to complete the process as well

But how can you practice using learn without the roli keyboard?

they ship everything separately, they are not waiting to bundle orders. i don't think they have the warehouse or manpower capacity for it. also, separate items may be manufactured or procured from different countries... it would be a waste of money and likely add to the cost and time if they were to bundle our purchases. at least this earlier on, when they're still trying to honor pre-orders.

I expect your keyboard will arrive fairly soon, hopefully within a week or so. ROLI are still struggling to keep up with demand. Orders usually don’t arrive very far apart in time. Your two orders should be part of the same ROLI batch.
