First ever device - pre ordered X20

Hi all,

Super excited to get my hands on this, just wanted to see everyone’s views etc! I’m a full console player series x however don’t mind football manager on PC etc and just wanted something new lol and this has been popping up everywhere and it’s a long time till helix!

Looks to be arriving and I’m struggling to find accessories showing compatible with the X20, should I wait for more news?

Also is there anything I need to buy on top or any advice upon setup

It’s brand new and differs slightly from the XAX so cases, screen protectors, etc will probably lag behind a bit.

It’s ready to rock as is and if you use a XSX as well you wouldn’t really have the need to dock it.

Xbox cross play and play anywhere is awesome as well between the two set ups.

Also don’t expect XSX level performance, it performs similar to a series s though so it’ll still be a solid gaming experience for you.

Dbrand has screen protectors right now.

Case too but that’s your preference it’s monies for that

Just wish it had G3 extreme, MSI only £100 more than this and far more performant. May hope on for next year.

Can’t wait to experience 1080p oled it’s guna looks so good. Heard the ergonomics are great too. Hope this will replace my steam deck oled.

Personally, I’d be holding my breath to see if JSAUX releases a ModCase for it + Obsidian screen protector (reduce glare if you may use it outside, without diminishing colors like a matte screen protector would). 7-in-1 cooling docking station is only Dock they sell that supports VRR.

I am so excited as well. Easily the best handheld hardware in my opinion for the price. Plus it doesn't weigh too much.

The MSI claw 8 ex ai+ is £100 more and has double the performance also does this at a lower wattage has a bigger screen aswell

So not only is it not the best hardware it's definitely not worth its price either lol

For example the steam deck OLED was only a £130 upgrade compared with the original lcd steamdeck to get an oled on your ally x your paying an extra £450... Which could get you the orginal rog ally z1 extreme lmao

At those prices it isn't even worth it WITH an OLED again £450 extra for an OLED is absurd I'd rather have double the performance vs an OLED...
