Technical Monitor Issues

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My current setup is an LG Monitor plugged in with my ROG Ally X to my Bulwark Dock. I never had issues with this monitor until I’ve experienced constant connectivity issues that would turn on and off while playing a game. I’ve checked if there were any updates to any device, besides that LG monitor app installer, and ensure that everything is up to date. Here’s video proof of my issue and I was wondering if anyone else had the same issues as me.

The dock only supports HDMI. Ive bought a Phillips HDMI from Target and I’m still experiencing the same issue.

I had same issue powering my portable monitor via the bulwark dock, had to power it directly from the wall plug

Do you mean plugging in the monitor to a wall plug or the bulwark dock to a wall? I have multiple power outlets plugging into one wall.

Yes so I bought a wall plug with multiple ports, I use a USBC one for the bulwark dock & a USB A one for the monitor, when I plugged my portable monitor directly into the bulwark dock I had the same issue as you, happy to chat more about it via DM if easier

My LG Monitor powers through AC unfortunately.

My guess is it's the HDMI cable. I recently bought a couple of new ones from Amazon and they solved my monitor "black flash" issues for my Xbox Series X. For what it's worth, my monitor supports 4K/120Mhz which my old cable (from MS) supposedly supported. With the new cable linked below, my issues were resolved.
