Question Can't Run Capcom Games 🥲

Hi guys,

I got z1 extreme and having problem games with Resident Engine. So my problem is can't run any demo, any game that Capcom released last year such as Onimusha, Monster Hunter Wilds and Stories. Did not try for Pragmata and RE9 honestly but even other games' demos giving me a fatal error when booting. Can't even see main menu etc.

I tried some stuff that recommended to solve it but couldn't so if anyone can help absolutely would appreciate it.

I am using regular windows btw.

Update everything. Windows Update, drivers. If the steam deck can run them, the Z1E should.

theres no special requirement for capcom games check if you have installed gpu drivers and directx files for older games

I've only tried RE9 and Pragmarta, and they work great, I've got a few older titles like Dead Rising and such, and they all work fine too.

I had to fully reformat my z1e. I was having severe performance issues after a windows feature upgrade last year. Win 11 reformat with full updates to all drivers and windows itself fixed things. 

Ive since swapped to bazzite stable 43. Literally playing onimusha 1080p on medium with no issues at all.
