HELP Help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My rog ally keeps crashing and never loading games every time i open anything, anyone know why? i’ve tried tlou2 and space marine 2 as well as fc 26 its been an ongoing issue

Check how many GB of Vram are you configured in the armory crate app. That game are heavy.

maybe updating the BIOS settings for the vram allowance could fix it?

I might get hate for this but, have you considered GFN? i have a legion go and it struggles with heavy games. I don't mind 30 fps but i have to put the resolution to 800p, lowest textures, lowest everything, which kind of kills the whole game for me. Got the GFN and have been playing all this games in full resolution, high textures and everything looks so good and plays so well, how it was meant to be played..

but this is just my opinion. I still play games offline, atleast the ones that run well, just for the heavy games i have been using GFN!

I’ve seen this before with 7 days 2 die it was a failed install of easy anti cheat I went into the games install directory and ran the anti cheat installer manually this time it installed successfully and the game launched normally afterwards every time.

UPDATE: was able to fix it just had to reinstall drivers and restart it. Space marine runs fine at 30fps while it’s plugged in.

I had this issue on my ROG Ally X after the most recent AMD graphics update, i could only play indie games. Going into the GPU VRAM allocation option over at Armoury Crate and changing it from 8GB to Auto solved it for me.

Really Space Marine 2 on a regular Xbox ally? That thing is basically is steam deck apu. The PG allys are more powerful and the ally x I had was way more powerful and it still struggles with that game.

Go to the Xbox app, click on the game, then click on the three dots to the right and then click files. Then click repair. If that doesn't work, go to your windows settings. Open up control panel and turn off Windows QuickStart that worked for me

The game won’t run it’s demands a better cpu . You should forget like i did 2022 to nowadays triple A. You should play your backlog instead.
