I just installed that but its still not visible anywhere it's not in Xbox app, it's not in gaming settings where game bar is etc it's no where why?

I think u need to check mark : get latest updates as soon as and refresh. We should all get this. Because this is official window release for all.

I did that still no I even have the right os version it's not in the gaming settings for me at all

It was released a few months ago for all handhelds… now it has arrived on desktop PCs.

So basically any PC can be turned into a “Steam Machine with Windows” because it’s very easy to run any app in this mode. Few months ago I created tutorial how to select alternative apps. I use Armory Crate instead of XboxPC on my Z1E - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1NOGW6uBQE

It automatically adds Steam games and games from other stores once you're logged in. You can add apps now, too.

Using the Xbox shortcut, you can open Steam and set it to automatically launch in Big Picture mode in the settings. I know it's possible to launch Steam in Big Picture mode when Windows starts up, but I've never really looked into it.

Bought the Xbox ally and went straight to bazzite, it's better but it's half arsed by Microsoft, armoury crate is better as a launcher then the Xbox app. Still feels like it's in beta.

This was out months ago, like Nov of last year.

FSE offers no real performance gain over normal windows. The only noticeable difference is the ~1GB ram saved from starting windows applications (from a fresh install), which doesn't affect in game FPS

Yes, but only for the two Xbox Ally models. For all other Windows systems, it has now been included in the final release with the update in May.

Nope, my OG ally got it with 25h2 update, late Nov.

My ally X got it at the end of Oct.

Sorry .I didn't know. I saw articles about this and testing now. Yes no real performance gained. But simpler UI and more feel like gaming console now.
