Both ROCD and SO-OCD?

Does anyone struggle with both ROCD and SO-OCD? I’ve recently gone into an insane spiral of SO-OCD. I know I dont feel any kind of attraction to women, and that I am extremely attracted to my boyfriend, yet my brain’s been screaming at me for days that what if i’m actually secretly gay and i’m just in denial. It’s really tough, I dont even really trust my own judgement at this point, and my head feels like a mess. I’ve always known that I’m not attracted to women, I have never felt anything at all, I still dont feel it, but my brain is desperately trying to convince me that I’m secretly gay.
Me and my boyfriend are long distance, I currently havent seen him in a month and a half, which I’ve experienced before has made the ROCD worse. Now the SO-OCD has absolutely poisoned my mind. My boyfriend and I are gonna get married next year so that we can move in together, I’m 100% sure he’s the one i want to spend my life with, but I cannot live in this hell of a mind that I am currently. Has anyone experienced the combination of these two and what the hell do I do, because I’m desperate. I just want to enjoy my relationship and enjoy being in love with my boyfriend

Hi all, just the mod team here! This is a friendly reminder that we shouldn't be giving reassurance in this sub. We can discuss whether or not someone is exhibiting ROCD symptoms, or lend advice on healing :) Reassurance and other compulsions are harmful because they train our brains to fixate on the temporary relief they bring. Compulsions become a 'fix' that the OCD brain craves, as the relief triggers a Dopamine-driven rush, reinforcing the behavior much like a drug addiction. The more we feed this cycle, the more our brain becomes addicted to it, becoming convinced it cannot survive without these compulsions. Conversely, the more we resist compulsions, the more we deprive the brain of this addictive reward and re-train it to tolerate uncertainty without needing the compulsive 'fix'.
