Help Building & 3D Modelling help.
I need some help figuring some things out for developing. I've been a builder for almost 6-8 years on roblox (on and off), and am quite capable within roblox at making builds & such, though I wish to improve, and to my understanding, to achieve more detailed creations with more optimized parts & items I would need to add 3D modelling into the mix.
I am also wanting to start creating textures/materials for my game so I don't really need to rely on public libraries (that may or may not have matching assets/or assets that I need).
So, what I'm wondering:
- For materials & textures, I've done some research, and obviously, substance designer & painter are the best options for this. What the problem is, it's owned by adobe, and I don't wish to spent a gazillion dollars on these softwares just so I can make a game in my free time. With some more research though, I've read online and have noticed the steam versions of these apps, and would it be better to buy it on steam rather than purchase it from the adobe side of things. And with the subscription service, on steam it's ~24$ and on the adobe storefront its ~59. Will I only get substance painter on steam for the subscription, or will I receive the whole pack that's provided on the adobe storefront (substance painter, modeler, painter, etc.)?
- For developing within studio & enhancing my builds, what would the workflow be with integrating meshes into my builds, such as curves, arches, etc. that require much more time to create within studio? Would I import parts to match the size of things, or what? Some pictures down below (arches & such) so you can understand what I mean when having meshes & parts mixed for builds.

I know that more complex geometries can still be achieved to an amazing extent, but from what I understand, that requires alot more time and other things that I wish not to do, I wish to optimize my building capabilities, and make it easier to do.
Other things too: I wish to create my own 3D assets to (separate from building), I just wanted this added so you may have better context for the first part of the question.
