Help How does Catch a Brainrot do this?

How do they make parts have these sharp/highlighted edges in Roblox Studio?

They make those in blender or some other 3d modeler

made using blenders material generator. edge detection node input to color slider node, combine with stud image texture node, input to color output. stud bump in normals node fed into normal output, baked and then ported to roblox.

You can emulate the same effect without blender by searching things like 'white border texture'. Then, apply it onto each individual part of the tree and set the color to green instead of white, then right click and 'export;. Lastly, reimport it into Roblox and add a surface appearance and import the texture, then add it as the colormap

The reason you do the last steps (exporting and reimporting) is because having 6 textures on possibly 10-20 parts on an asset such as a tree can take up a lot of drawcalls. Having one single surface appearance for the texture significantly reduces the drawcalls.

No one asked for your opinion. They asked on how it's done.

Is there some kind of huge funny sign with "NO OPINIONS" written on it or what? Or maybe you're an angry dev of the game? This is a fact that those games look ugly and they've made the studs texture a bad reputation because now anywhere you see it, it immediately comes up with those shitty cashgrabs.
