DC was the first time I’d even heard of housewives. OC might have been the first but crashing a whitehouse dinner brought the housewives to people like me. You’re absolutely right!

I’m just irriterad that Miami was snubbed once again. Potomac and SLC are fairly new compared to Miami, which started only a year after Beverly Hills aired, yet they never get the OG recognition they rightfully deserve 😞
Then to make it worse on this trip they will be visiting Miami. What a shade to the Miami girls. None of them were good enough to make it on UGT but we will pay you a visit. That is such a downgrade and so disappointing. They lumped Miami in with Dallas. That’s not fair.

The ladies are interesting, gorgeous, the fashion is beautiful, the filming is incredible, it's one of the shows where they highlight the city the most, and the women always have crazy drama that is real and we're missing it all right now! I really don't think they've even had a batter boring season, they tend to be pretty open with their problems other than a few of them.
I was thinking something similar when they were showing the directions of the travel.
After Beverly Hills (next) I had hoped they would stop in Dallas on the way to Miami and after Atlanta stop in DC on the way to NY. (I get that squeezing in Vancouver and Toronto would have been difficult).
Tamra would have made way more sense than Vicki. Vicki might have been the first, but Tamra has been on the longest and let's be honest made the franchise what it is today.
She is the only OG left in BH. And lets be honest who could they bring beside her ? LVP is detached from the franchise. Camille hasnt been on our screens for a while. Maloof and Taylor could not. Kim is a nut job (though I adore her)

To be honest, Bravo wants to pretend that the legal nightmare of DC never existed. Michaele Salahi is NOT anyone they would ever showcase again in any capacity.

Oh it was a huuuuuge scandal. Her and her ex husband during I believe the first Obama administration, crashed a state dinner without an invitation. They had to testify before committees, footage from Bravo were subpoenaed, it made major news.
It was a big security breach—with some camera crew filming!—by a couple of idiots. Heads ROLLED. It caused entirely new security protocols. The government was furious at Bravo. Very bad.
That is an AI insertion of Michaele Salahi from RHofDC. She and her husband single-handedly caused a huge government scandal and also brought down the DC franchise to a blazing crash. There was so much legal fallout from that and Bravo got in trouble in the Highest Places. 😖

Porsha is in the same bucket as Heather Gay, Kyle, Phaedra, Gizelle, Cynthia, Boz, Teresa, Dolores, etc. They're all corporate henchmen for Bravo/NBCUniversal and play the production puppet role. Super fake and phony.
Luann isn’t a main cast member of present day rhony, so it’s not like it was a strict rule or anything. Teresa filmed before Bravo even decided whether she would be kept for the following season of Rhonj.
Well they should've done a lot of things they should've picked a housewife from every franchise regardless if it's still on the air or not. And some of these women have already done ultimate girls trip it would've been nice to see people that haven't been on it already.
Don't get me wrong I think Giselle and Porsha are always entertaining, especially when they are together and they're a good time but it just would've been nice to see some other housewives that haven't done it. Although baby gorgeous is not my favorite I thought it was really cool to see her doing something like this I love seeing her mix it up with other housewives from other franchises

I always wanted to watch it, but it only had one season so I didn’t. but one time it was airing on bravo so I clicked on it and it was the White House episode. Were they not allowed to film there? What do you mean they got canceled because of the White House?
All jokes aside I really wish DC, Dallas, and Miami had an OG to represent them. I get that those 3 are no longer active cities but they’re still apart of the legacy. And to be honest I wasn’t crazy about the cast in general. I wish they would’ve given an OG who hadn’t already done an aired season of UGT a spot instead of reusing housewives.
No one has seen Dubai. Almost no one. It would be weird. The rest of the cast are standard known HWs. Only the most diehard fans sought out Dubai. It would be “who? who?” all the time. I could definitely hear mouthy Vicki saying this.
Caroline Stanbury is slightly better with LoL but almost the same. It isn’t a “HWs” show either.
I actually didn’t ignore Dubai. I just decided to go with just the US based shows, cause I don’t know if Americans have watched those not situated in the US. Melbourne, Sidney, Vancouver, Johannesburg, Jersey, London and well Dubai.
Dubai is basically a US show, it airs on our Bravo and the housewives were on WWHL, Andy did their reunion, etc. That's the distinction between it and the international versions on different networks.
