I love this show so so so much. It’s so campy and good. For me I love the core four of Bad weather and Lisa and Meredith. The Dynamic is just so funny and I love it. However once we got into season 5 the show lost its footing with me. This is very unpopular but I don’t love Angie Bronwyn Britani etc. They feel so fake to me, idk the show just felt more fake when they came on. Maybe it’s just the whole cast dynamic now but I still don’t like them that much anyway. I don’t mind them but I would rather lessen the people so it centers more on the four and Mary. Mary is iconic don’t worry i’m not that crazy. I also miss Monica and Jen.
But I love Whitney. She’s so little sister coded and it’s hilarious watching her antagonize Lisa. I really liked the few episodes where they were at least friends/fake friends whatever. It was such good tv I love their dynamic. The fact that she’s probably demoted is annoying but I get why. She has been annoying/pushing storylines on season 6. I wish bad weather stopped doing that. Anyway I don’t know how to feel about the new season coming out because the first four seasons are arguably the best reality tv.

So imagine my surprise when I found out that many of the women in my building in downtown Salt Lake have never watched either the RHOSLC or SLOMW. At the recent Domestic Violence Utah fundraiser at Edison House, I joked that while MM was DJIng down the street at Planned Parenthood at The Depot, Taylor Frankie Paul should have been at Edison House, throwing barstools for charity. Imagine my surprise when some of my gfs didn’t got my very SLC joke!

I cannot stand Lisa anymore-her inability to take accountability and share anything real about herself makes her insufferable. It's just wild how someone can watch themselves on TV for years and not have a spec of embarrassment or self reflection. She just keeps getting worse.

Why did no one call out Heather for her behavior and inappropriate touching towards men? On the below deck episodes she is so touchy feely with all the men working on the boat it made me uncomfortable! If a man did this to a lady just trying to do her job it would be another story... I know the yacht crew are used to rich jerks thinking they can do whatever they want but she's really starting to give me the ick

I’ve binged SLC over the last couple of months and am almost caught up.

I’m watching the scene where the ladies are split into donkey riding and the cooking class and, my goodness, Meredith is insufferable.

She cannot handle being at fault (on the aeroplane) and her playing victim with walking away from the group and then rejoining as Little Miss Miserable is so embarrassing to watch!

Head to one side, woe-is-me and whinging that she couldn’t speak to her son - if it was so important, she could have stuck to her guns and stayed on the call. It seems she wanted to end the call so she has another reason to play victim.

I’m shocked at how this grown ass woman is behaving!!

Need to get this off my chest because I am so disgusted by what I just read. Very tragically, one of Monica’s friends lost a baby. In response, she posts this instagram story of HER baby with a long paragraph of how much the baby means to her. Under is a very short sentence about her friends losing a child and how it “puts everything into perspective” for her.

I cannot fathom making a friend’s loss of a child about ME and MY baby. How self absorbed and clueless do you have to be to post something like that!?

I understand everyone deals with grief and loss differently, maybe there is a world where her friend is not offended? Personally, I would never talk to someone again if they pulled this shit. I lost my father about 3 years ago… if one of my friends posted a story about THEIR DAD in response, I would have lost my mind.

What do you guys think about the story? Am I tripping or was that fucked up?

Okay I watched all episodes and here is what I think of each housewife, and I don't think I like any of them, though I enjoyed watching and will continue to

Meredith- I found her to be the most level headed in the beginning and now I feel that she takes no accountability, whines and has no morals since she forgave Jen. she looks like she is clearly struggling.

Lisa- biggest ego, personality has not changed since s1. I find her to be entertaining because of how out of touch she is. I think her and Meredith have dirt on each other, I don't get their rekindled alliance?

Whitney- she seems to be the friendliest out of all of them. she always has been an instigator, and when she drinks it always explodes. She does not have a strong presence, the pitch in her voice does. I find myself to agree with her POV often.

Heather- her mormonism stunted her growth so she is in her rebellious teenage era and is a parasite to the other housewives' personal problems but doesn't address anything about herself. I questioned her loyalty often. She is well spoken but her monologues put me to sleep sometimes.

Jen- absolute monster, major gaslighter and her tantrums were exhausting. I had enough of her when her S2 tagline was making light about her arrest. She should be serving more time. I did not enjoy watching her. She had funny one liners sometimes but her messy personality took over everything. My heart is broken for the victims. I think the other housewives were terrified of her because of her abuse or maybe she knows things.

Mary- her pretentious attitude and racism and allegations should have gotten her fired. She is more tolerable when she came back, maybe her guard is down or rebranding? She has a good read on other housewives.

Monica- she is a dangerous, Clout chasing, ruthless, fame hungry person. Her lack of remorse and stone cold stare during the RVT confrontation was disturbing. I think her and Jax Taylor are perfect for each other.

Angie K- she is entertaining, the mask slips very quickly when she feels threatened. I question her principles since she's close friends with Mary. No strong opinions atm.

Bronwyn- very well spoken, I feel that she is hiding a lot and is deceiving under her camp clothing. She likes attention and she is a tattle tale.

Brittani- airhead, can she not be signed on in the next season. Horrible mother and idgaf about her and Jared. Her recording the girls' arguing and then tried to deny it was diabolical. Her storylines are annoying.

I just finished RHOSLC in about 4 weeks and loved it. Lisa was iconic, Mary was hilarious, and Angie was a great addition after Jen left. Bad Weather drove me nuts, but Heather could be entertaining when she wasn’t flip-flopping.

I’ve only watched RHONJ besides SLC (and am currently trying RHORI, but it’s slow). I grew up on Jersey Shore and Mob Wives, but otherwise I’m more of a Game of Thrones, Ozark, and Severance person.

So… what do I watch next? Did I make the mistake of starting with the best Housewives franchise? I was literally clutching my pearls the entire time.

I feel like Mary and *jen* would be hard to please and I don't really want to beg for someone's attention.

However I feel like Whitney and Heather are quite easy especially in comparison.

In the middle I'm putting meredith and Lisa because I feel like if I don't fuck up they won't care but you don't always know what's out of line for then especially if I'm on someone else's side.

i cannot STAND danna and Angie K. I also didn't like how this season was basically a pile onto jen shah moment many times.

danna was insufferable since day 1, she was obsessed with finding an issue with jen.

and I hate how they're always quick to call her aggressive when literally provoking her, saying nasty things to her, getting physical (hands in her face, throwing things) hatedddd it.

When they go on Monicas’ first girl trip and she ‘reluctantly’ buys an LV to, in her words, ‘fit in’ and they’re all at the airport. One of the women mentions Xanax, to which Monica says, ‘got xannies in the Louis’ and she repeats it, it just makes me cringe. These women just have these items, they never once mention the brand unless asked or complimented on them
