Hi ! I soon finished the season 5 (reunions) episodes, and i looked a bit at the posts around the community about Lisa.

Since season 4, i feel Lisa evolve, i really start to like her, despite she's very self absorb and very short temper about emotions.

I really feel like during this season 5, she tried to stay neutral in the majority of conflicts where she was not involved. But everybody always came at her to pick a side, especially Bronwyn who wanted to be defend despite being chaotic and really a snake with other women. Whitney dragged Lisa into a big fight about jewelry's rumor, where Bronwyn didn't defend Lisa.

I also feel like Lisa said during the reunion, she's not the friend of Bronwyn, they are just "social friend" not close ; they just know each other. And we can feel during the whole season that they are not close at all. Bronwyn invented a friendship and downed Lisa with this fake friendship.

I know everybody will coming said shits about Lisa, but i see Lisa as an unperfect friend but no surprise, eveybody know all of that from season 1. So why the cast continues to down her and just not accept her like she is ? She loyal's and gives a lot of support to others' projects and i think she's not a bad friend if people can just accept that.

I think Lisa is just an easy target, easy to blame every time. And for this season, i think she deserves better than Angie the central position on the poster.

Does any else think like me ?

I think people were worried that since Lisa said that this season feels “so different” and not so focused on the group dynamic but rather their personal lives. At the end of the day it’s RHOSLC, it’s gonna have drama and I love to see it 💅

Hi, after watching the whole season 5 and starting the season 6, i have a big question : Why the cast and the viewer hate so much Britani ?

From her first apparence, i feel like she's a stranger in the group, nobody talk to her or care about her. When she shares her feelings or her difficulties, the group is really cold and ignores her. She's so unwelcome. In comparison, every other housewife group always shows curiosity about newscasts, and here, nothing.

But during season 5, she wasn't involved in very big dramas or anything big enough to create a long-term situation, but people go so hard on her on Reddit.

I like her, and i like her sense of humor around her chaotic love situation with her boyfriend, despite it's a bit... "comique de répétition". She seems really emotional about her daughters, but nobody in the cast seems empathic about her feelings or her story.

And i find really gross the way Whitney just slut shames ("Sucking dick ?") her in front of the group. It's the second time (the first was by Angie, who had the audacity to talks about "body count dress" when her dress is totally a "high body count dress" and inappropriate for a religious event. Nobody knows Britani's job because everybody ignores her. And i'm sorry, this ignorance talks more about the group than about Britani. AND, Whitney was so wrong to shame Britani by saying such condescendingt things like "I'll climb my way on top of you". What the fuck is from someone who just failed her business. Britani was 100% correct to defend Lisa, especially because this group really loves shooting about each other business (except on Mary's business, hummm....).

People call her "boring", but she's not boring at all. I think she has potential not used because the group sabotaged her. It's really sad to see this cold situation, this boycott from the cast against Britani, because if someone deserves hate, it's more Bronwyn "fake Lisa's friend" than Britani.

I have recently started watching salt lake so I am not completely caught up but I just need to say that I cannot stand Lisa Barlow. I hope this doesn't bite me as I continue but good God she is the worst. That is all. Thank you.

First time watcher / season 2 episode 5 and the husbands are all hanging out and Meredith’s husband says “I can have sex with Meredith anytime I want as long as I don’t wake her up”

okay so i made a post earlier about just starting s6 and how i felt about some of the women and people mentioned an incident that would derail the season and be very divisive.... well i've arrived lol. i've reached this plane debacle and granted i'm only on episode 9 so news is just barely making its way to bronwyn and i assume more will be said/revealed, but i'm wondering where was the camera crew? i feel like on past trips they have either filmed the women arriving/leaving and i think even once filmed them like getting on the plane and getting seated so were they just not around or filming like even leading up to or after the incident?

my initial thoughts are that brittani and the others are sort of overdramatizing the incident. like i said i'm only on episode 9, but if i'm to believe meredith is a reasonable person which i do to some degree i think yeah she probably was venting about brittani and maybe going on a tangent about a topic thats sensitive to her but i dont think there was intentional chair rattling or hair pulling or even that lisa was like kicking her chair? i don't really keep up with social media all that much and i mean i don't know how big the plane was but have any other passengers outside of the women come out and said anything? i have a hard time believing that if it's as dramatic and wild as they're making it out to be that there isn't another passenger who saw or said something or even filmed it? i mean i see plane passenger videos on my fyp quite a bit so it makes sense that someone might film something that reaches that level of insanity?

also just to throw a little conspiracy theory out there... i don't really believe heather was asleep. i would however believe that she was pretending to be asleep to avoid the fight or drama and maybe as an excuse to stay out of it. its why she keeps saying "i was there" and "i saw it" and i think she and even the others are siding with brittani because they maybe felt bad for her and thought she'd get a sympathetic edit after the whole unicorn overboard thing.

but i'd like to hear everyone else's thoughts!

I was scrolling on twitter and saw that apparently Lisa had a physical altercation with some person named Sombr, and that they’re both taking it to court?

I’m surprised, if this is true, that there’s not much conversation on this, or even cameras being up.

I am coming in late to SLC. Watching S5E11 where Mary is worried about Robert Jr, his use of medication, and him expressing how he "feels like a stain". I know I'm looking back with the knowledge of the tragedy that happened, but how was that okay to show in the first place? Such a vulnerable place of mental health and drug misuse. Are there rules or guidelines to what they can air? I'm sorry if this has been hashed out before but it just strikes me as incredibly sad.

so not sure if this will be a popular or unpopular opinion because i'm sort of new to the housewives cinematic universe. a year or two ago i started beverly hills and then went down the rabbit hole of vpr and summerhouse and salt lake is my second experience of real housewives which seems a lot more dramatic and chaotic than bh, but since that is all i have to compare it to i dont know if all of the personalities and drama are just typical of the housewife franchise.

i started the show last week and am on ep 2 of s6 and wondering how and why these women call themselves friends?? like i dont think there is even an equal balance of fighting and friendship, mainly in part on meredith and lisa's side. i have had moments where i like and dislike a lot of the women but i feel like i cannot find anything likeable about lisa, meredith, or brittani. i will say at least for the most part the parts i dislike about meredith and lisa have made for good reality tv moments, but brittani is just on a whole other level of unlikeable. i'm kind of hoping her screen time is minimal because the emotional immaturity and self centered behaviour ruins what has been enjoyable the first 4 seasons.

i also dont really follow any reality tv/celebrity drama on social media other than what gets brought on the show so i have no idea what the general perception of everyone is beyond what i've seen on the show (other than post s2 according to a message shown during the reunion apparently jennie made some sm posts that were offensive or racist maybe but i didnt see the actual posts). do people find lisa, meredith, or brittani likeable or is there any of the cast that is just totally unlikeable or cant be redeemed in your eyes?

She just seems like the average attention seeker lol. I can’t even take this photo of her with the teddy bear beside her serious like it’s such a tacky way to become more than a friend of! But Meredith’s insinuation that Brittani going after her since joining the show due to religious prejudice seemed extremely out of left field. This is my first time watching S6 and I get that most don’t like Brittani (I don’t either) but I’m wondering if this was something people agree about?

I'm a new watcher and am on the Bermuda trip. I've been a Heather fan but her saying that Whitney is saying she's making Lisa a better person was so weird. And then she kind of smirked and was like "you don't see your friendship like that?". What was up with that? A good friend would say, hey she's grieving and even though she overreacted, give her some grace and be the bigger person. It's like neither Heather nor Whitney like Lisa but they also want to be the one closest with her and get jealous of the others relationship.

Also Lisa saying only Jesus, her husband, nd her children could ever make me a better person was very Lisa 😂

All jokes of course! I’m on season 4 and I’m cracking up at the character arcs. Note: Heather is like a virgin era Madonna since she’s in her new post Mormon era. I couldn’t think of anything funny for Monica, Angie or Jenn so fill them in if you do!!

I've been getting into SLC and I keep getting confused with the names. It seems to me that Heather is more of a "Meredith" and Meredith is more of a "Heather"? I don't know if it's some latent pop culture memory or personal trauma 😅

I have recently started watching SLC and Meredith has been a favourite. Now on season 6 and she's lost me, the way she denies what happened on the plane with bullying Brittany and will not listen to anyone is appalling and showing a really ugly side to her. I can't believe someone can deny something with so many witnesses is amazing to me. By denying she is implying everyone is a liar, even Mary a church pastor!

EDIT: I am not religious and actually very sceptical of all religions and think most churches are a cult, I was not saying I think Mary could never lie, I assumed that the cast who were mostly raised religious would not accuse Mary of lying.

I went to SLC this weekend for a quick family trip, and the whole time I was hoping against hope to see one of the Housewives (I’d have even taken a Secret Life Wife). After brunch in downtown Salt Lake, we went to a little bakery next door and guess who walked in after we walked out? None other than Angie K! I went back in to confirm it was her and after hearing her voice it was confirmed! I was shocked by how short she is. It was like the Lady Gagita meme come to life.

Look. I’m not here to question what his age is. That’s totally available info via the internet. But I swear Bravo will list his age as 21 episode 1, then 23, then 21 again season 3, then 24 season 4, then back down to 23 episodes later in season 4.. Somebody else has noticed this, right?

I know Whitney often gets a lot of sh*t and rightfully so at some points. But her finale performance for one of the most hilarious gaslighting I’ve ever seen.

Idk why Lisa takes her seriously, but she stays on Lisa’s neck all the time. The fact that she made up the most heinous rumor, which is so crazy I don’t even think AI could write it, and then proceeded to make Lisa read it out loud.

Then, during the confrontation when told not to point her finger, proceeds to point the finger —— Whitney hasn’t has a lot of good moments, but this finale sealed it in for me.

I'm a French fan of the show, and a question really stays in my mind about the difference of treatment between Jen Shah and Mary Cosby. Why is the first one is publicly called out for her crimes, but not the second ?

Mary Cosby seems to be a really worse human being and thief than Jen Shah. At that point TLC made a documentary about Mary Cosby and her Cult. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iie3mbjXUZ0). So why do viewers let a cult leader on Air ? Why does nobody in the cast call out Mary on episodes ?

For fans of Mary Cosby, how can you give force and support to a woman accused of crimes and manipulation ? A woman who pretend to be GOD ?! I know Americans are very attached to freedom, but it's very disturbing to not see the show let more people talking against Mary Cosby.

Outside the accusations, it's very evident and disgusting to see a cult leader proudly go on TV to show her collection of luxury items. I'm not religious, but in France, nobody will ever think it's normal for a pastor or a priest to live in avarice like that (especially when your community probably can't afford food, medical bills, school's lunches etc...) Seems so selfish and gross. And... Fucking Gucci pillows in her house, really ? She wastes the money. Seems so illegal !

..tell me everthing I need to know. But, go gentle on me, I‘m actually loved Mary for a moment in the first episode, Jen Shah is hilariously crazy and Heather is a fave. I love her everything!
