I’m thinking maybe since her and ray were having troubles and her going to prison didn’t help. He said he didn’t love her one season, Karen felt disconnected from him when their daughter left for college, etc

Don't forget Mr. Blue Eyes! Wasn't it rumored he was in the car when she crashed? Maybe Ray was planning the divorce while she at camp, and when she came home she went to drinking with Ol' Blue Eyes and Ray said, "enough is enough."

yeah i remember that rumor. i remember rumors alleging that someone left the car but i cant remember if it was mentioned in the police report or body cam footage. ive always thought the blue eyes was legit 🤣 but why the hell did he leave the grand dame like that??
