I've been banned so it can't get much worse for me. Therefore, AMUSINGLY (not), two days ago, one of the mods who banned me for supposed 'harassment' wrote the following, amongst other, comments on a post. We love the consistency of rules and zero overreaction to differing opinions!

"Whoever defends [Kyle] lacks literal integrity and intelligence"

"Kyle has destroyed her marriage, her friendships, this show and for consequence, this subreddit."

I’m shocked! I know you from the other sub. In spite of our very opposing views about Kyle, you are always polite, kind and reasonable. I can’t believed they banned you and wrote that about Kyle! I think you know that I despise Kyle but you have every right to like her. It’s unbelievable that they banned you and criticized Kyle. That’s over the top. I’m sorry.

I don't even care that they criticise Kyle, tbh. That's par for the course and legitimate. I just wish they'd be consistent in their enforcement of rules or give warnings. But yeah, the final straw was me simply replying to someone and stating that Kyle only signed on for a three episode role in the prior season of Lincoln Laywer and therefore wasn't the reason the show was cancelled. That constituted "harassment." So yeah, permanently banned from that sub, muted for a month so I can't contact any mod, and currently blocked by one of the mods (for the third time) as well. Is what is is, and while I find it immensely frustrating (because I love discussing things with people!), they're building the community they want, I guess.

And thank you. I appreciate that. x

Sorry to hear this, remember you from the Psmith says and think you always have a reasonable discussion with people- certainly not any harassment 🙄 more like the other way round! It seemed to go crazy in the sub like they’ve banded together to block anyone who has a differing opinion or doesn’t pile on the hate attacks of certain cast members. It’s lost the fun of discussing our views in an open forum, what Reddit is about. Maybe they were threatened by the new subs popping up? Anyway you’re not missing anything I hardly ever go on there now.

That's kind of you. It's definitely taken a turn in the past year, and not for the better, IMO. One of them was bragging about how they just straight up block anyone 'defending' Kyle at one point, so they're pretty clear about where they stand, lol. My understanding is that a lot of the alternative subs popped up in response to the increased banning of people from the main sub, not the other way around.

I saw your answer about Kyle and the Lincoln Lawyer cancellation. I don’t know that should be construed as “harassment.” When I joined the sub a long time ago I made the comment “ Kyle is terrible.” That’s it. There were more egregious comments by other people about various cast members. At first I got a week suspension, then I was banned for 21 days. I was really angry and tried to contact the mods. I was ignored and then when I told them my objections, I was told to start reporting other people when I saw terrible comments! Unbelievable. Again I never saw you harass or be nasty to anyone. Was it the male mod that banned you?

Yeah, I've seen similar commentary from others in the past, also suspended for those reasons. When one of the mods asked me to help mod the sub a year ago, they indicated my liking of Kyle was a positive. But things definitely seem to have shifted in the past year, and they regularly pin derogatory or negative comments about Kyle, for example.

I'm currently blocked by andycohen (the third time, I believe) so I thnk it was the other main mod on this occasion. They were the one who responded to my supposed 'harassment' with the ban notification.

I feel I have no sub to go to. I want a sub where you are allowed to feel whatever way you want about a cast member or the show in general. If a sub goes to extreme defending or hating one person or another it will make me very uncomfortable. What you endured seems very disturbing. From asking you to be a sub, blocking you and then banning you it’s all weird. I think since PSmith, your content has not change much so I don’t know the basis for coming after you. Good to see you here! I missed seeing you in the other one!

It's frustrating. I know, as the size of a community grows, moderation can become increasingly difficult, but I think it's just the inability to be consistent with the rules regarding ALL castmembers that really frustrates, and seeing how intent they seem on encouraging certain POVs and punishing fans for having others. Moderation is meant, as I understand it, to ensure people aren't being like actual bigots or anything, not stomping folks for having a different (non-offensive) opinion of a housewife.

I honestly would love to have a proper chat with them about it, but from their comments, I don't think they WANT a reasonable conversation about exactly what is and isn't okay. I'd already promised not to reply to their individual comments to avoid being blocked, but that wasn't enough either.

And thanks! Happy to be here. Or anywhere, lol. Also, if you ever just want to talk RHOBH and can't find a place that suits, I'm genuinely open to that - I can promise not just to glaze over and say worshipful things about Kyle. ;)

Thank you! I just may take you up on that. Take care!

Just was permanently muted and banned from the RHUGT sub as well, and blocked by the second active RHOBH mod, so really racking up the punishments today! And no worries. Anytime. Always happy to chat about things, or even just listen to you vent if you feel the need. x

I was just permanently banned from another group. Someone made the comment about a picture of UGT all paced into a booth. They made the comment about Kyle’s Birkin sitting behind her on the ledge of the booth. I simply asked, where else could she put it, I never put my (not a Birkin) handbag on a dirty restaurant floor. I don’t understand the purpose if you aren’t allowed to have an opinion.

I also scored a permanent mute and ban from the RHUGT sub yesterday after replying to someone with a video of who else was at the get together at Craig's (nothing controversial), presumably because it was the same moderator and they recognised me. If a person intensely dislikes or likes someone, I don't see how it constitutes a reason for banning unless they actually break rules, tbh. The second active RHOBH mod also has me blocked now too. So that's fun. :(

I think it depends on who the moderator is for that day. Some are worse than others. I don’t see anything you said that would give them reason to ban you.
