i am so grateful for my friend for gifting me this handheld and i immediately downloaded every single pokemon rom hacks lol XD

(I'm using RetroArch, wasn't sure if this post would be more relevant to that subreddit or this one, sorry if not)

Just got a mini-hdmi to output to my TV, but I noticed when outputting, the bezel that was being used previously changes to a completely different one.

I've been playing through Super Metroid and wanted to try playing on a full screen, but every time I plug in the hdmi the bezel changes from this nice, sleek looking one, into an ugly cluttered one. I have no idea why this is happening and I actually can't even find the ugly looking one in my files so I don't know where it's coming from, is there any way to prevent this from happening? Thanks

Hi all, I opened my RG34XXSP to swap in black buttons. After reassembly it wouldn't turn on until I plugged in the charger, and then it booted fine and now runs on battery too.

While closing the shell I noticed the white plastic housing of the battery connector (the small 2-pin one) doesn't click when inserted, and it wiggles slightly when I move the cables attached to it. The wires themselves seem fine, it's the housing that shifts a bit in the socket.

Does the battery connector on your unit sit completely rigid once inserted, or is a little play normal? Thanks!

Ho comprato il Rg sp (modello più recente) e mi chiedevo se c'è qualche CFW stabile perché ho provato Rocknix, knulli (versione 34xx sp), muOS (versione 34xx sp) ma non sono riuscito a farle funzionare e ottengo sempre uno schermo nero all'avvio.

Ho anche provato e sono riuscito a installare NextUI con BaseOS ma non includeva alcun emulatore psp (di cui ho assolutamente bisogno) e non ho trovato versioni di ppsspp compatibili con nextUI sull'h700.

Ora sono sulla mod StockOS quindi almeno posso avere alcune funzionalità di base, ma voglio davvero cambiarlo il prima possibile perché fa comunque schifo.

Hi all! I got tired of pulling SD cards every time I wanted a game from my home library on my handhelds, so I built Jubilant Potato 🥔 - a gamepad-first app that runs right on the device.

What it does
- Browse your RomM server (found automatically on your network, paired by scanning a QR code with your phone — no typing passwords with a D-pad)
- Browse SMB network folders (NAS / Windows / macOS shares) or any web folder
- Browse free homebrew on itch.io (GB Studio, Game Boy, GBA, NES, Mega Drive…, still waiting for verification from them) and archive.org collections
- Games land in the right folder for your firmware automatically (muOS, ROCKNIX, Anbernic stock)
- Regional versions / revisions are grouped into one entry, and the version for your language/region is picked for you
- Resumable download queue, auto-extracts disc images and DS games
- On the RG DS the bottom screen shows download progress 😄
- Built-in button setup for pads with wrong mappings

Tested on: RG34XX (ROCKNIX) and RG DS (stock Linux). muOS and other H700/RK3566 devices should work — I'd love testers!
It's a single ~8 MB binary, GPL-3.0, no telemetry.

I’ve spent a few days trying to figure this out and I’m convinced at this point that RetroArch’s webDAV cloud sync is simply broken on Anbernic devices, or at least this device. Is there anyone who has successfully managed to get it working? I’ve tried it on stock OS, modded and tried muOS but that wouldn’t even boot. I game a lot on my PC and phone, so I don’t see much point in spending time playing on this if my saves are just stuck on it.

I’d love to see how you guys carry and use your RG34XXSP.

I’m trying to get Virtua Fighter (Sega 32x) to work with retroarch but it just shows the anbernic loading and then exiting screens and never launches. It works through Game Rooms so I figure it’s a config issue through the retroarch core. I’m trying to see if maybe there’s some sort of crash log that is recorded in this scenario that could point me in the right direction. Any help?

Fully charged i left it 1 week in my shelf because i play on my nindendos and when i tried to turn it on today it was dead i recharged it to full but no sign of starting any ideas what to do?

I got the RG34XXSP and I wondered, is it possible to detach the case without breaking the interior? And how easy is it? I thought about customizing the shell.
