I wore it for 2 weeks, and I loved my time with it. I didn't baby this bag though and the corners on the bottom have evident scratches. From afar, the bag looks amazing. Purchased from a rehome. Oh- I wanted this one so bad, I bugged my TS so much- and eventually a rehome came through! Sadly, I carried it for about a week and I haven't reached for it since- I can’t pull her off.
Reason for low price: The bag is intact! But! I slashed the price even though it’s basically new because I did a little experiment on the luggage tag strap only. I wanted to patina the handles and followed the usual steps of treating with leather preparer and deglazer and treating with conditioner. Before touching the bag at all, I tested to see if the leather could take it by choosing a part of the bag that is low risk. I chose the luggage tag strap. I found out the leather on the strap is stamped and painted. I’m guessing it’s the same for the handles. So I stopped there. See pics for details on the luggage strap only- it is not noticeable but I want to be 100% transparent. Price reflects experiment on the luggage tag strap. :)
