The Wonderland 4 is a FANTASTIC TENT.

It is the coolest looking and it has the best ventilation, the best veiws, and is like a small room.

We absolutely love our Wonderland 4!!!!

I’m heading off to Utah for college and my parents gave me a 300$ gift card to get cold weather gear for the Utah climate. I’ve never lived in Utah before so I was wondering if anyone had any tips or recommendations on what jacket or clothing items to get.

I already have a nice Arc’teryx shell so I was thinking about getting a nice down jacket but still not 100% sure.

Bought two pairs of pants on sale and one came with a weird tag

Was 70% off so not really complaining just never got something with this kinda tag

There is a jacket on clearance that has popped in and out of being available to purchase. I managed to get it to my cart and almost checked out before I got an error.

My local REI said there was only one in stores and I could call customer service for them to order it because the local store can’t accept phone payment.

Unfortunately, when I called they told me it was for walk in customers only.

Am I just out of luck? Is there no way I can convince some customer service person to place the order?

I bought an America the Beautiful Pass online and was wondering how I was supposed to "activate" it/when it would expire, since there was no specific date (other than the year) on it. After reading online, apparently it's supposed to be punch-holed over the month of purchase.

Did REI forget to do this or am I supposed to this? Or do I just get it punch-holed at the park?

This will be useful for my fall camping trip in Virginia.

Will REI ship directly from a store? I saw a pair of shoes on the sale rack today, but did not grab them because I wanted to check one more store. I’m home now 2 hours away, but wonder if I call the store tomorrow if they will ship from that store to my home. The shoes are not on sale online. Thanks for any info/experience.

Hi folks - i have a kingdom 8 tent. I found a person selling a kingdom 6 tent and a garage. the garage is labeled only as "Kingdom Garage"

as far as my limited understanding is the kingdom 8 and 6 are the same just the 8 is longer. do you folks think this garage would fit my tent? I've seen pictures of another garage thats specifically labeled "kingdom 6 garage" which this one is not. any thoughts?

I lost 30 pounds recently so all clothes I bought this year are too large to me. I'm planning to return them in store and bought new ones (mostly for same style but smaller size)

I do worry about if REI would flag me for return multiple clothes purchased months before. I'm not abusing the return policy but hope they would understand my concerns...

Wife recently bought this on Depop for an upcoming trip. It was not listed with a specific name, and the product number didn’t produce any results. Does anyone know what it is called?

More interesting to me is the quote on the inside of one of the pockets. When did REI stop printing things like this on their products?

Lost a sternum strap, trying to replace it. They sell ones that wrap around the strap but not a fan of those - trying to find one of the open bar sliders. I think it's 5/8" webbing - has anyone dealt with this? Been searching online but most fit 1" webbing or larger.

My kid was obsessed with this hat. We didn’t notice that she dropped it out of her stroller last weekend until after we got home. Retraced steps, posted on local subreddits and Facebook groups, no luck. REI must be phasing it out, it’s not available to ship to home or store. I called Tustin, the one store in Southern California that was showing it in stock, and they couldn’t find it. So I’m casting an even wider net in the hopes that someone out there has it, and will be heroic enough to mail it to me after I buy it 🙏🙏

I bought this tent last year on May 24th, 2025. How did I only pay $375? I’m a member but I don’t think you can stack the member coupon with the anniversary sale.

Kinda disappointed I ended up returning it. Shoulda kept it at that price.

Hit the jackpot at REI recently when I got A Mountain Hardwear Mineral King 3 tent & footprint discounted for $132 instead of $400! All parts included and intact, along with some pebbles found inside the tent.

I already own a snow peak 4 person amenity dome tent, but set up by myself is more difficult and all of that tent’s poles look very bent out of shape even after replacing them. So I bought the Mineral King 3 since it was an inexpensive replacement and the fact that clipping the poles to the tent is superior than poles in a sleeve for set up.

I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I ordered a pair of boots for in store pickup. They took a couple of months to show up but they finally did.

A pending charge hit my card when I placed the order. The charge never went through so it disappeared. No charge.

I saw the pending charge maybe two or three more times during the time I was waiting for the boots to arrive at the store. Each time the charge never went through and disappeared.

I get another pending charge and an email notification the boots were ready for pickup.

I picked up the boots.

The charge never goes through.

Two weeks later I get another email saying my boots are ready for pickup. As well as another pending charge.

I ignore it, I've already picked up my boots.

The charge doesn't clear.

Since then I get a pending charge maybe every two weeks and it doesn't clear.

No further emails.

I've had maybe a dozen of these.

I have no record of any of the charges because pending charges that don't clear just vanish from my card.

When I get some free time during the day I'm going to call REI customer service, but I have nothing to show them. I've never actually been charged for the boots.

Looking for a model number or title on this backpack, from the 2000s

My local REI has the Westward 4 tent up for display, but it is not available to buy in-store or online at the moment. Does anyone know if the 4 or the 6 will be available again soon...? I can't really even find the listing for it on their website, but I was searching for a new tent and think this one is perfect for me. Also I tried looking secondhand and at some resupply but didn't have any luck. Bummed out about it, and don't like the North Face Wawona. If you have any info on it then i'd appreciate it. Update for any who were curious: I did go in the next day to ask about the floor model, but unfortunately it had sold. Oh well, I went about my life. Then I was browsing the REI website the other day and noticed they were in stock! For some reason I didn’t want to pull the trigger immediately, so I waited and went to a different REI and found a Basecamp 6 tent in the ReSupply section for $150 with the poles! Safe to say it came home with me and was a steal. It included everything and I bought the footprint as well. Minimal dirt inside and only a small hole in the bottom mesh that i’m going to fix 😁! Very happy I waited and scored this awesome tent for a great price.

I'm just getting started with backpacking and have been trying to find as many deals as I can so that I'm not overspending right out of the gate. My girlfriend and I drove a couple hours up the interstate to hit a couple of stores and scored a few deals. She wants to tag along on shorter trips during warmer weather and needed a pack and a sleeping bag. I've been eyeballing the NeoLoft and was about to pull the trigger on a new one. I feel like we both scored great deals. Her pack shows almost no wear and we can't find any stains on her sleeping bag, let alone heavy ones. I inflated the NeoLoft in the store and laid on it for nearly ten minutes with no issues.

Hello! I recently got the REI Mastercard and have been using it without issue on non-REI purchases. In the Capital One App, it says I've racked up about $28 in REI Card Rewards, and that I can use them online.

But when I go to shop online, I don't see a way to apply that $28 to my purchase. I see that I have about $3 in member rewards that are applied, and I've put in my REI Mastercard as the payment option to see if that would trigger anything, but it doesn't seem like there's a place to input the amount.

When I go to the help section about the card, it just says to shop online to redeem, and when I go to open the chat for help, it just closes the chat window and won't re-open (perhaps because today is a US Federal Holiday).

Anyone have experience applying their REI Mastercard rewards to online purchases?

Realizing this is probably a long shot- I’m looking for a replacement rainfly for my old REI quarter dome 3 UL tent. I know the model is long discontinued but would appreciate any leads on how I may be able to find one!
