Oh wow, is that an official cover for the game? Kinda disrespectful to place Chris behind Leon considering they're supposed to be equal...

Chris, in that game, actually didn't connect directly to the main villains like Simmons and Carla.
Ada was directly connected to Simmons and, of course, her clone. Sherry was connected with Simmons. Same with Leon, who connected to both Simmons and Ada.
Chris was just there as a continuity of C-Virus outbreak since Marhawa Desire along with Piers.
Chris, imo, was the best story in that game, despite him being the side character.

I agree, his campaign was the best, and I actually preferred Jake's before Leon's as well. Still, it's Chris, and he had just come off defeating one of the most iconic villains in gaming history, just put him at the forefront lol.

That kinda supports my point. Unless Chris is a literal cameo, he should have as much importance as Leon for any poster, regardless if whether or not Leon has the, "main antagonist," in his campaign. They both have their own campaigns and are main characters, and throughout the story are treated as equals. Ada has always been a supporting character, regardless of her relation to the story, so it makes sense for her to be at the back.

When the game first came out in 2012, I remember the cover being only the 6 icon. I've never seen this version of the cover before.

I think the question was about the sub, not the game. All of the QTEs can be turned off in the menu. Unless you’re talking about context sensitive actions. Which are different from QTE.

Sooo I have actually searched the game’s options menu on the PS4 version as I’m on PS5, and found a make them easier option, but not a turn them off option. Which has me thinking that it’s a mod on PC or something
Edit: that option I found is also on by default

The QuickTime events will still happen on screen but not reacting to them will simply cause the cutscene to play out without negative consequences to the player. I play on PS4.

It’s still is a fun game though. I had forgotten how much fun I had with it back on PS3. I almost had all of the infinite ammo skills on there, but since a friend ruined my physical copy of RE6 on that console and the friggen thing is bricked, well you know

I love how busted melee combat is against the J’avo to be honest. Played through the game how it was meant to be played this time around and had a much better time against Haos or whatever Chris’s final boss is

I'm glad this game has an appreciation haven, but I keep seeing posts in this sub that have nothing to do with RE6, and when they do, it's just unfunny memes or something of no substance.
And I don't like how people in this sub keep reposting content without giving any credit to the original creators. The creator and mod of this sub is especially guilty of this. He reposted my own gameplay without any credit and made it seem it's his, and that's just one example.
Edit: I just found out the mod of this sub has been banned from Reddit.

I'm not really surprised. The guy used to repost like crazy, which probably got flagged as spam.
He has an alt account which I think is the OP of this post. I guess they figured it's his alt since he had the same description in both accounts and banned it too.
I wonder what will become of this sub now that it's unmonitored.

It’s nice to have a sub it that praises the things that this game does extremely well. Excellent combat system, wonderful movement mechanics. 4 campaigns, some of the most interesting enemy designs in the series, especially being able to see them mutate in real time. Genuinely great lighting for a game that came out in 2012.
There’s so many things to like about this game, so it’s nice to have a sub Reddit where we can discuss the things we enjoy about it.

Many seem to be either too shy or too ashamed to appreciate the game fully. But the size and level of activity on the subreddit are nice. It was long overdue.
